Pairing

- Before using the headset for the rst time, you must pair it with a Bluetooth-enabled

handset.

- To pair your headset with an additional handset, the headset must be placed in

Pairing Mode.

- There are 2 Pairing Mode Methods with the HBS-730.

Easy Pairing (First Time Pairing)

1. Move the Power switch to the ‘ON’ side to turn on the HBS-730. When the headset

enters Pairing Mode, the LED indicator will show a solid blue light.

2. Using your handset, nd the Bluetooth Menu and “search for” or “add” new

devices.

• Select “LG HBS730” from the list of devices and pair it with your handset.

3. If asked for the Pass/PIN code please enter “0000” (4 Zeros).

* Note : If your handset supports Secure Simple Pairing (SSP), you will not need to

enter Pass/PIN code.

• Once pairing has completed successfully, you will hear “Your headset paired.”.

4. Some handsets might ask for permission to access the phone’s contact list. If you

receive a message from your handset, please select “OK” or “Allow access”

• The HBS-730 will automatically turn off if not paired within 3 minutes.

Manual Pairing (Pairing with another phone or re-pairing)

• With the power off, press the CALL button and move the Power switch to the ‘ON’

side at the same time for 1 second.

• When the headset enters Pairing Mode, the LED indicator will show a solid blue

light. After the procedure repeat Easy Pairing steps 2 through 4.

Multi-connection

Advanced Multipoint

The HBS-730 is capable of having two devices connected to the headset at the same

time. This will give you the freedom of using call waiting between calls on both of your

connected phones.

How to Use

Connection

- Pair the headset with one of your Bluetooth-enabled handsets. (per the pairing

instructions on page 2).

- Turn off the headset.

- With the power off, press the CALL button and move the Power switch to the ‘ON’

side at the same time for 1 second to enter Manual Pairing mode.

- Now, pair and connect the headset with your other Bluetooth-enabled handset. (this

will be your primary handset).

- Once this handset is paired and connected, go back and connect the originally

paired handset to the headset. This will now be your secondary handset.

* NOTE: When the HBS-730 is connected to two handsets at the same

time(Multipoint), the headset calling functions will work with the primary handset.

* NOTE: In case of failure to connect to the primary phone through Easy Pairing,

HBS-730 will enter pairing mode.

Calling Function

- Voice Dialing and Last Number Redial features work with the primary handset (or

handset which made the last outgoing call).

Call Waiting

- While speaking on an active call, press the CALL button for 1 second to switch to

an incoming call.

- To switch between 2 active calls, press the CALL button for 1 second.

- To terminate the active call or both calls at once, briey press the CALL button.

- If both handsets are receiving an incoming call, the headset will default to the

primary device.

Auto Reconnect

- If the HBS-730 is turned off (either accidentally or intentionally) while connected to

a handset, the headset and handset will disconnect. The headset and handset will

automatically reconnect when the HBS-730 is turned back on while in range.

- Secondary handset need to be connected via selecting “LG HBS730” from the list of

devices at Bluetooth menu.

Controls

Power on / Power off

- Move the Power switch to the ‘ON’ or ‘OFF’ side.

Volume Control

- Briey press the VOLUME button.

Charging

- When the charger is connected, with the power on or off, the headset will turn off.

- While charging, the LED indicator will show a solid red light.

- When charging is complete, the LED indicator will turn off.

Battery status check

- Press and hold the VOLUME DOWN button for 1 second.

- There are 3 levels of battery status

Battery status High Medium Low

Voice Prompt Battery High Battery Medium Battery Low

- HBS-730 battery status indicator will appear on the iPhone screen.

Low battery

- An announcement will be made once every 2 minutes.

- If the battery is not charged, the headset will turn off.

Answering a call / Ending a call

- When there is an incoming call, the headset will ring and vibrate.

- Briey press the VOLUME DOWN button to stop vibration.

- Briey press the CALL button.

Out of range

- If the paired devices are separated by a range of 10 meters(33 feet) or more, the

headset and handset will disconnect and HBS-730 will vibrate to alert.

- If the headset and handset do not automatically reconnect when they are back

within the required range, briey press the CALL button on the HBS-730 to

reconnect manually.

* It is possible to use these functions only when your handset supports them. For

further information about using these features, please consult your handset’s user

manual.

- While in multi-connection and streaming, the inactive paired device, which is out

of range, will be disconnected. The HBS-730 will alert once with no attempt to

reconnect.

Last number redial

- Press and hold the CALL button for 1second to activate “Last Number Redial”.

The headset will beep, and call the last number dialed.

Making a call

- If you make a call from the handset, the call will (subject to phone settings)

automatically transfer to the headset. If the call is not automatically transferred, you

can manually transfer the call by press and hold VOLUME UP button for 3 seconds.

Voice dialing

- Briey press the CALL button to activate “Voice Command”.

Note: If the handset does not support Voice Dialing, it is possible that performing

this action will activate Last Number Redial.

Transferring a call

- While on a call on your handset, press and hold VOLUME UP button for 3 seconds

to transfer the audio either from headset to handset or from handset to headset.

Call waiting

- Answer a second call without hanging up the rst call by pressing the CALL button

for 1 second (you will hear a beep). Press the CALL button for 1second to turn to

the original call.

- Briey press the CALL button to terminate the active call or both calls at once.

(subject to handset’s support)

Call Reject

- Press the CALL button for 1second when the handset rings.

Mic Mute

- Press and hold the VOLUME UP and VOLUME DOWN buttons simultaneously for 1

second to mute/unmute the Mic during conversation.

Audio streaming

- PLAY : Briey press the PLAY/PAUSE button.

- PAUSE : Briey press the PLAY/PAUSE button.

- STOP : Press and hold the PLAY/PAUSE button.

- NEXT SONG : Briey press the FF button.

- PREVIOUS SONG : Briey press the REW button.

- FAST FORWARD : Press and hold the FF button.

- REWIND : Press and hold the REW button.

Equalizer

- While playing music, press and hold VOLUME UP and VOLUME DOWN buttons

simultaneously for 1 second to switch between EQ’s (Bass Boost(Default)

1. Radio frequency exposure

This Bluetooth

®

Headset, HBS-730, is a radio transmitter and receiver. When in operation,

it communicates with a Bluetooth

®

equipped mobile device by receiving and transmitting

radio frequency (RF) electromagnetic elds (microwaves) in the frequency range 2.4 to

2.4835 GHz.

Your Bluetooth

®

Headset is designed to operate in compliance with the RF exposure

guidelines and limits set by national authorities and international health agencies when

used any compatible LG Electronics mobile phone.

2. Potentially explosive atmosphere

Turn off your electronic device when in any area with a potentially explosive atmosphere.

It is rare, but your electronic device could generate sparks. Sparks in such areas could

cause an explosion or re resulting in bodily injury or even death. Areas with a potentially

explosive atmosphere are often, but not always, clearly marked.

3. Battery information

A rechargeable battery has a long service life if treated properly. A new battery or one that

has not been used for a long period of time could have reduced capacity the rst few times

it is used. Do not expose the battery to extreme temperatures, never above +60°(+140°F)

or under -20°(-4°F). For maximum battery capacity, use the battery in room temperature.

If the battery is used in low temperatures, the battery capacity will be reduced. The battery

can only be charged in temperatures between +10°(+50°F) and +45°(+113°F).

Removal of waste batteries and accumulators

(Product with embedded battery ONLY)

In case this product contains a battery incorporated within the product which cannot be

readily removed by end-users, LG recommends that only qualied professionals remove

the battery, either for replacement or for recycling at the end of this product’s working life.

To prevent damage to the product, and for their own safety, users should not attempt to

remove the battery and should contact LG Service Helpline, or other independent service

providers for advice.

Removal of the battery will involve dismantling of the product case, disconnection of the

electrical cables/contacts, and careful extraction of the battery cell using specialized tools.

The battery in your Bluetooth

®

Headset must be disposed of properly and should never be

placed in municipal waste.

Disposal of waste batteries/accumulators

1 This symbol may be combined with chemical symbols for mercury (Hg), cadmium

(Cd) or lead (Pb) if the battery contains more than 0.0005% of mercury, 0.002% of

cadmium or 0.004% of lead.

2 All batteries/accumulators should be disposed separately from the municipal waste

stream via designated collection facilities appointed by the government or the local

authorities.

3 The correct disposal of your old batteries/accumulators will help to prevent potential

negative consequences for the environment, animal and human health.

4 For more detailed information about disposal of your old batteries/accumulators,

please contact your city office, waste disposal service or the shop where you

purchased the product.

5. Conditions

- The warranty is valid only if the original receipt issued to the original purchaser by the

dealer, specifying the date of purchase and serial number, is presented with the product

to be repaired or replaced. LG Electronics reserves the right to refuse warranty service if

this information has been removed or changed after the original purchase of the product

from the dealer.

- If LG Electronics repairs or replaces the product, the repaired or replaced product

shall be warranted for the remaining time of the original warranty period or for ninety

(90) days from the date of repair, whichever is longer. Repair or replacement may

involve the use of functionally equivalent reconditioned units. Replaced parts or

Important safety information

Limited Warranty

Avoiding hearing damage

Permanent hearing loss may occur if you use your Handsfree car kit at a high

volume. Set the volume to a safe level. You can adapt over time to a higher volume of

sound that may sound normal but can be damaging to your hearing.

If you experience ringing in your ears or mufed speech, stop listening and have your

hearing checked. The louder the volume, the less time is required before your hearing

could be affected. Hearing experts suggest that to protect your hearing:

• Limit the amount of time you use Headset at high volume.

• Avoid turning up the volume to block out noisy surroundings.

• Turn the volume down if you can’t hear people speaking near you.

Please refer to your handset user guide for more information on how to adjust

listening levels on your handset.

Using Headset safely

Use of Headset to listen to music while operating a vehicle is not recommended and

is illegal in some areas. Be careful and attentive while driving. Stop using this device

if you nd it disruptive or distracting while operating any type of vehicle or performing

any other activity that requires your full attention.

Párování

– Před prvním použitím sluchátek je spárujte s telefonem vybaveným technologií

Bluetooth.

– Chcete-li sluchátka spárovat s dalším telefonem, musejí se nacházet v režimu

párování.

Sluchátka HBS-730 podporují dvě metody párování.

Snadné párování (První párování)

1. Sluchátka HBS-730 zapnete přesunutím vypínače do polohy „ZAPNUTO“.

Jakmile sluchátka přejdou do režimu párování, indikátor LED bude svítit modře.

2. Pomocí telefonu najděte menu pro rozhraní Bluetooth a „search for (vyhledejte)“

nebo „add (přidejte)“ nová zařízení.

• Ze seznamu zařízení vyberte sluchátka „LG HBS730“ a spárujte je se svým

telefonem.

3. Pokud budete požádáni o zadání hesla/kódu PIN, zadejte „0000“ (čtyři nuly).

*Poznámka: Pokud telefon podporuje zabezpečené jednoduché párování SPP

(Secure Simple Pairing), nebudete muset heslo ani kód PIN zadávat.

• Jakmile bude párování úspěšně dokončeno, uslyšíte oznámení „Your headset

paired“ (Sluchátka připojena).

4. Některé telefony budou vyžadovat povolení pro přístup k seznamu kontaktů

telefonu. Pokud telefonu zobrazí tuto výzvu, vyberte možnost „OK“ nebo „Povolit

přístup“

• Pokud nebudou sluchátka HBS-730 spárována do 3 minut, automaticky se

vypnou.

Manuální párování (Párování s jiným telefonem nebo opětovné párování)

• Vypněte zařízení a po dobu 1 sekundy přidržte stisknuté tlačítko HOVOR

a zároveň přepněte vypínač do polohy ZAPNUTO.

• Jakmile sluchátka přejdou do režimu párování, indikátor LED začně modře

svítit. Poté opakujte kroky 2 až 4 pro snadné párování.

Více připojení

Pokročilá funkce Multipoint

Sluchátka HBS-730 je možné připojit ke dvěma telefonům najednou. To vám

umožní využít mezi jednotlivými hovory funkci čekající hovor na obou připojených

telefonech.

Připojení

– Spárujte sluchátka s jedním z telefonů, který je vybaven technologií Bluetooth.

(podle pokynů pro párování na straně 2).

– Sluchátka vypněte.

– Pro spuštění režimu Manuální párování vypněte zařízení a po dobu 1 sekundy

přidržte stisknuté tlačítko HOVOR a zároveň přepněte vypínač do polohy

ZAPNUTO.

– Nyní spárujte a připojte sluchátka k dalšímu telefonu vybavenému technologií

Bluetooth. (Bude fungovat jako váš primární telefon).

– Jakmile bude telefon spárován a připojen, vraťte se zpět a připojte původně

spárovaný telefon ke sluchátkům. (Bude fungovat jako váš sekundární telefon).

* POZNÁMKA: Když jsou sluchátka HBS-730 připojena ke dvěma telefonům

současně (pomocí funkce Multipoint), budou funkce sluchátek pro hovor fungovat

s primárním telefonem.

* POZNÁMKA: Pokud se primární telefon nepodaří připojit pomocí funkce Snadné

párování, spustí sluchátka HBS-730 režim párování.

Funkce volání

– Funkce hlasového vytáčení a vytočení naposledy volaného čísla využívají první

telefon (nebo telefon, ze kterého bylo naposledy uskutečněno volání).

Čekající hovor

– Pokud chcete při probíhajícím aktivním hovoru přepnout na příchozí hovor,

stiskněte a na 1 sekundu podržte tlačítko hovoru.

– Pro přepnutí mezi 2 aktivními hovory stiskněte na 1 sekundu tlačítko hovoru.

– Pro ukončení aktivního hovoru nebo obou hovorů najednou stiskněte krátce

tlačítko HOVOR.

– Pokud přijde příchozí hovor na oba telefony současně, přepnou sluchátka

automaticky na primární zařízení.

Automatické opakované připojení

– Pokud jsou sluchátka HBS-730 připojena k telefonu a (buď náhodně nebo

úmyslně) vypnuta, bude připojení mezi sluchátky a telefonem zrušeno. Připojení

mezi sluchátky a telefonem se automaticky obnoví při zapnutí sluchátek HBS-730

v dosahu telefonu.

– Sekundární telefon musí být připojen volbou možnosti „LG HBS730“ na seznamu

zařízení v menu Bluetooth.

– Přesuňte vypínač do polohy .„ZAPNUTO“ nebo „VYPNUTO“.

Ovládání hlasitosti

– Krátce stiskněte tlačítko VOLUME (HLASITOST).

Nabíjení

– Je-li připojená nabíječka (zapnuté nebo vypnuté napájení), sluchátka se vypnou.

– Během nabíjení bude indikátor LED svítit červeně.

– Po dokončení nabíjení dojde k vypnutí indikátoru LED.

Kontrola stavu baterie

– Stiskněte a podržte tlačítko SNÍŽENÍ HLASITOSTI po dobu 1 sekundy.

– Stav baterie má 3 úrovně

Stav baterie Vysoký Střední Nízký

– Na obrazovce zařízení iPhone se objeví indikátor stavu baterie sluchátek

HBS-730.

Slabá baterie

– Každé dvě minuty se ozve hlášení.

– Pokud nedojde k nabití baterie, sluchátka se vypnou.

Příjem a ukončení hovoru

– Při příchozím hovoru sluchátka zazvoní a začnou vibrovat.

– Pro zastavení vibrací krátce stiskněte tlačítko SNÍŽIT HLASITOST.

– Krátce stiskněte tlačítko HOVOR.

Mimo rozsah

– Pokud se spárovaná zařízení oddálí jedno od druhého na 10 metrů (33 stop)

a více, spojení mezi sluchátky a telefonem se přeruší a sluchátka HBS-730 vás

na přerušení upozorní vibracemi.

– Pokud nedojde k automatickému opětovnému připojení sluchátek a telefonu,

které se opět nacházejí v požadovaném dosahu, stiskněte na sluchátkách

HBS-730 krátce tlačítko HOVOR, tím dojde k manuálnímu připojení.

* Tyto funkce lze využívat pouze v případě, že jsou podporovány telefonem. Další

informace o těchto funkcích naleznete v uživatelské příručce k telefonu.

– Při více připojeních a datových proudech bude neaktivní spárované zařízení,

které se nachází mimo dosah, odpojeno. Sluchátka HBS-730 na to jedenkrát

Opakované vytáčení posledního čísla

– Stisknutím a podržením tlačítka CALL (HOVOR) po dobu 1 sekundy aktivujete

možnost „Last Number Redial“ (Opakované vytáčení posledního čísla).

Sluchátka pípnou a poté vytočí naposledy volané číslo.

Uskutečnění hovoru

– Voláte-li z telefonu, hovor bude (v závislosti na nastavení telefonu) automaticky

přenesen do sluchátek. Pokud není hovor automaticky přenesen, můžete jej

přenést ručně stisknutím a podržením tlačítka ZVÝŠENÍ HLASITOSTI po dobu

3 sekund.

Hlasové vytáčení

– Krátkým stisknutím tlačítka HOVOR aktivujete funkci hlasového vytáčení.

Poznámka: Pokud telefon nepodporuje hlasové vytáčení, může při této činnosti

dojít k vytočení naposledy volaného čísla.

Přenos hovoru

– Stisknutím a podržením tlačítka ZVÝŠENÍ HLASITOSTI po dobu 3 sekund

přenesete během hovoru zvuk ze sluchátek do telefonu nebo z telefonu do

sluchátek.

Čekající hovor

– Druhý hovor přijmete bez nutnosti zavěšení prvního hovoru stisknutím tlačítka

HOVOR po dobu 1 sekundy (uslyšíte pípnutí). Stisknutím tlačítka HOVOR na

1 sekundu se vrátíte k původnímu hovoru.

– Krátkým stisknutím tlačítka HOVOR ukončíte aktivní hovor nebo oba hovory

najednou. (závisí na podpoře telefonu).

Odmítnutí hovoru

– Když telefon vyzvání, stiskněte po dobu 1 sekundy tlačítko HOVOR.

Ztlumení mikrofonu

– Chcete-li během hovoru ztlumit/zrušit ztlumení mikrofonu, stiskněte zároveň

tlačítka ZVÝŠENÍ HLASITOSTI a SNÍŽENÍ HLASITOSTI po dobu 1 sekundy.

Zvukový datový proud

– PŘEHRÁT: Krátce stiskněte tlačítko PŘEHRÁT/POZASTAVIT.

– POZASTAVIT: Krátce stiskněte tlačítko PŘEHRÁT/POZASTAVIT.

– ZASTAVIT: Stiskněte a podržte tlačítko PŘEHRÁT/POZASTAVIT.

– DALŠÍ SKLADBA: Krátce stiskněte tlačítko RYCHLÉ PŘETÁČENÍ VPŘED.

– PŘEDCHOZÍ SKLADBA: Krátce stiskněte tlačítko PŘETÁČENÍ ZPĚT.

– RYCHLÉ PŘETÁČENÍ VPŘED: Stiskněte a podržte tlačítko RYCHLÉ

PŘETÁČENÍ VPŘED.

– PŘETÁČENÍ ZPĚT: Stiskněte a podržte tlačítko PŘETÁČENÍ ZPĚT.
