When setting up your television set for the first time, we advise
you to use the quick installation guide included below.
Please read the following instructions carefully to familiarise yourself with

Installing your television set
æ Positioning the television set
Place your TV on a solid, stable surface, leaving a space of at least 5 cm
around the appliance.
To avoid accidents, do not put anything on the set such as a cloth or
cover, a container full of liquid (vase) or a heat source (lamp).The set
must not be exposed to water.
 Connections
• Insert the aerial plug into the M socket at the rear of the set.
Smaller sets are equipped with an internal aerial. Under certain conditions,
reception can be poor.You can improve it by repositioning the aerial. If the
reception remains unsatisfactory, an external aerial should be used.
• Insert the mains plug into a wall socket (220-240 V / 50 Hz).
ê Remote control
Insert the two R6-type batteries (supplied) making sure that they are the
right way round.
The batteries supplied with this appliance do not contain mercury or nickel
cadmium. Please do not discard your used batteries if you have access to a
recycling facility (if in doubt, consult your dealer).When the batteries are
replaced, use the same type.
® Switching on
To switch on the set, press the on/off key.
A red indicator comes on and the screen lights up.
Go straight to the chapter Quick installation on the following page.
If the television remains in standby mode, p ress P on the remote contro l .
The indicator flashes when you use the remote control.

The television set has 4 keys which are located on the front or the top
of the set depending on the model.
The VOLUME - + (-a+) keys are used to adjust the sound level.
The PROGRAM - + (- P +) keys are used to select the required
programmes.
To access the menus, hold down the VOLUME - and VOLUME + keys
simultaneously.Then use the PROGRAM - + keys to select an adjustment
and the VOLUME - + keys to make the adjustment.
To exit from the menu, hold down the VOLUME - and VOLUME + keys
for a few seconds.
Note: when the LOCK function is activated, these keys are unavailable (see
page 6).

Tuning in to channels
Quick installation (first use)
The following operations are all described in the enclosed quick
installation guide.We advise you to use it.
The first time you switch on the television, a menu appears on the screen.
This menu asks you to choose the language of the other menus.
If the menu does not appear, hold down the PROGRAM- and PROGRAM+ keys
( o ra- and P-)
on the set for 4 seconds to bring it up.
æ Use the keys numbered from to on the remote control to choose
your language (for English, press ).Another menu appears.
 Select your country (for GB, press ).
ê As soon as your country is entered, tuning in starts automatically.
The operation takes a few minutes.A display shows the search status and
the number of programmes found.When it has finished, the menu
disappears and the last programme is displayed.
If no programmes are found, refer to the chapter entitled Tips on p. 8.
® If the transmitter or the cable network broadcasts the automatic sort
signal, the programmes will be correctly numbered.
† If not, the programmes found will be numbered in descending order
starting at 99, 98, 97, etc. (or 79, 78, ...).
Use the SORT menu to renumber them.
Some transmitters or cable networks broadcast their own sort parameters (region,
language, etc.).Where this is the case, make your choice using the keys and
confirm with .
æ Press the key.The main menu is displayed.
 Press once to select INSTALLATION, then press .
The INSTALLATION menu appears.The LANGUAGE option is activated.
ê Press 3 times to select SORT then press .
The SORT menu appears.The FROM option is activated.
® Select the programme you wish to renumber using keys or to .
Example: to renumber programme 78 as 2, press .
† Select option A (key ) and enter the new number with keys
or to (for the example given, enter 2)
Ú Select EXCHANGE (key ) and press .The message EXCHANGED
appears, the exchange takes place ( to cancel). In our example,
programme 78 is renumbered as 2 (and programme 2 as 78).
º Select the option FROM (key ) and repeat stages ® to Ú as many times
as there are programmes to renumber.
î To exit from the menus, press .

 Press once to select INSTALLATION and press .The INSTALLATION
menu appears.
ê Use to select a setting and to adjust.
• LANGUAGE: to change the menu language.
• COUNTRY: to select the country you are in (GB for Great Britain).
This setting affects the automatic programme sort.
• AUTOSTORE: press to begin storing.The operation takes a few minutes.
When it is complete, the INSTALLATION menu reappears automatically.

on the previous page.
To exit or interrupt the search, press .
• EXTERNAL: press to bring up the menu.You have access to a series of
names which allow you to customise the names of the external sockets.
When you next select an external socket, its chosen name will be displayed
for a few seconds.
® To exit from the menus, press .
Manual tuning
This menu allows you to store the programmes one by one.
æ Press .The main menu comes up on the screen.
 Press once to select INSTALLATION then press .
ê Select MANUAL STORE ( ) and press .
The MANUAL STORE menu appears.
® Select SYSTEM (only available on certain models). Use to select AUTO
(automatic detection) or manual detection: EAST- EU (standard DK) or
WEST- EU (standard BG).
† Select SEARCH and press .The search begins.
As soon as a programme is found, the search will stop.
If you know the frequency of the programme required, simply enter its
number using keys to .
If no programme is found, refer to the Tips chapter on p. 8.
Ú If reception is unsatisfactory, select FINE TUNE and press or to fine
tune.
º Select PROGRAM NO. and enter the required programme number using
or to .
î Select STORE and press .
The message STORED appears.The programme has been stored.
œ Repeat steps † to î as many times as there are programmes to store.

Using other menus
To adjust a menu:

Adjusting the sound
You can store your own sound and picture settings.
æ First carry out your menu settings.
 Next, select PERSONAL and press .The message STORED is displayed.
The settings are stored.
Values are saved under PERSONAL in the Smart sound and picture controls
( and )
Note: volume and DELTA VOL. are automatically stored and do not need to be stored
in the PERSONAL menu.
Press .You can adjust: BRIGHTNESS, COLOUR, CONTRAST, SHARPNESS,
TINT, CONTRAST+ and NOISE RED..
• SHARPNESS: alters the crispness of the image,
• TINT: alters the colour balance.There are 3 options: COLD (blue tint), NORMAL
(balanced) or WARM (red tint).
• CONTRAST+: automatically adjusts the image contrast according to content
(the darkest part of the image is always black).
• NOISE RED.: alleviates fuzziness (snowy picture).This setting is useful when
reception is difficult.
Press .You can adjust DELTA VOL.
• DELTA VOLUME (volume difference): allows you to compensate for the volume
differences between the different programmes or the EXT sockets.This setting is
available for programmes 1 - 40 and the EXT sockets.

This function (only available on certain models) allows you to lock the set in order
to limit its use completely or partially.
Key lock
æ Press , select TV LOCK ( ) and press .
 Set the LOCK to ON.The keys are locked.
ê Switch off the set and put the remote control out of sight.The set cannot be
used (it can only be switched on using the remote control).
To cancel: switch LOCK to OFF.
Programme lock
æ Press , select TV LOCK ( ) and press .
 Select PARENTAL CONT. and press .
ê Enter your confidential access code.The first time, enter the code 0711 then
confirm by re-entering 0711.The menu appears.
® Select PROGRAM NO. and use keys or to to enter the number
of the programme or socket you wish to lock.
To lock all of them, select ALL.
† Select LOCK then YES.
Ú Repeat stages ® and † for each programme to be locked.You can lock 5
programmes separately.
º P ress to exit.To watch a programme which has been locked you will now
need to enter the confidential code; otherwise the screen will remain blank.
When a locked programme is displayed, use the P keys to access other
programmes (the keys are used to enter the code). Caution: in the case of
encrypted programmes which use an external decoder, it is necessary to lock the
corresponding EXT socket (and not the programme number).
To unlock all programmes
Repeat stages æ - ê above, then:
® Select CLEAR ALL and press .All programmes are unlocked.
To change the confidential code
Repeat stages æ - ê above, then:
® Select CHANGE CODE and enter your own 4-digit number.
† Confirm by entering it again.Your new code will be stored.
If you have forgotten your confidential code, enter the universal code 0711 twice.
To exit: press .
This function (only available on certain models) allows you to use your TV as an
alarm clock.
æ Press , select TIMER ( ) and press .
 The SET CLOCK menu appears. Enter the time ( or ).
ê Select TIMER ACTIVE and press to switch the timer on or off.
® Select PROGRAM NO. and enter the number of the programme required.
† Select START TIME and enter the time at which the set is to switch on.
Ú Press to put the set into standby mode. It will switch on automatically at
the programmed time. If you leave the set switched on, it will merely change
programmes at the set time.
The set switches off automatically after 4 hours if no further commands are given.

To select connected equipment
Press to select EXT(1) and, on models with 2 euroconnector
sockets: EXT2 and Y/C2 (S-VHS signal on EXT2).
The switch is automatic on most appliances (decoders, etc.).
Depending on the model, s o c kets are on the fro n t
(sometimes under a flap) or on the right-hand side of the set.
Headphones
When the earphones are plugged in, the sound on the set is
cut off.Adjust the volume using the a keys.
The headphones must have an impedance of between 32 and
600 ohms.
Camcorder
Certain models are equipped with AUDIO/VIDEO
connections. Make the connections, then use the key to
select EXT (or EXT2 for models with 2 euroconnector
sockets).The switch between the front and rear sockets is
automatic with priority on front sockets.
Front panel connections
Video recorder (only)
Connect as shown using a good quality euroconnector
cable.
If your video recorder does not have a euroconnector socket, the
only connection possible is via the aerial cable.You will therefore
need to tune in your video recorder test signal and assign it
programme number 0 (see manual store, p. 4).To reproduce the
video recorder picture, press .
Video recorder with decoder
Connect the decoder to the second euroconnector on the
video re c o rd e r.You can then re c o rd scrambled transmissions.
Satellite receiver, decoder, DVD, games, etc.
For sets equipped with two euroconnector sockets, it is
best to connect the equipment which produces RGB signals
(digital decoder, DVD drives, games, etc.) to EXT1 and the
equipment which produces S-VHS signals (S-VHS and Hi-8
video recorders) to EXT2.
Video recorder
Connecting other appliances
Depending on the model, the TV is equipped with 1 or 2 euroconnector sockets, EXT1 and EXT2.
The EXT1 socket controls audio video input/output and RGB input.
The EXT2 socket (if available) controls audio video input/output and S-VHS input.
Other equipment

ß
Poor reception or no picture
The proximity of mountains or high buildings can cause ghost pictures,
echoing or shadows. If this is the case, try tuning the picture using FINE
TUNE (p. 4).
Do you have the right system (p. 4)?
Check that the aerial plug or euro c o n n e c t o r plug is properly connected.
Check also that your aerial is capable of receiving broadcasts in this
frequency range (UHF or VHF).
Adjusting the picture
If the picture is out of focus, or if you are having difficulties finding the right
settings, select one of the Smart picture controls ( p. 2) and store it
using the P E R S O N A L setting (p.5).
In case of bad reception (fuzzy picture), set the NOISE RED to ON: p. 5.
The picture is in black and white
To read a video cassette, check that it is recorded in the same format as
that of the video recorder (PAL, SECAM or NTSC).
No sound
If certain programmes have a picture but no sound, this is because you do
not have the correct TV system (see p. 4).
Standby
When you switch on the set, if it remains
in standby mode and the LOCKED message is displayed, this means that the
LOCK function is activated (p. 6).
The set switches automatically to standby if it re c e i ves no signals for a period
of 15 minu t e s .
When it is in standby mode, the set uses energy.To save electricity, we
advise you to switch it off using the on-off button.
Still having problems?
If the set breaks down, never try to repair it yourself. Consult your after-
sales service department instead.
Recycling
The materials used in your set are either reusable or can be recycled.
To minimise environmental waste, specialist companies collect used
appliances and dismantle them after retrieving any materials that can be
used again (ask your dealer for further details).

æ Positionnement du téléviseur
Placez votre téléviseur sur une surface solide et stable en laissant un
espace libre d’au moins 5 cm autour de l’appareil. Pour prévenir toute
situation dangereuse, ne rien poser dessus tel qu’un objet couvrant
(napperon),rempli de liquide (vase) ou dégageant de la chaleur (lampe).
De plus, le téléviseur ne doit pas être exposé à des projections d’eau.
 Raccordements
• Introduisez la fiche d'antenne dans la prise M située à l’arrière.
Les téléviseurs à petite taille d’écran sont équipés d’une antenne d’intérieur.
Dans certaines conditions, la réception peut être difficile.Vous pouvez
l’améliorer en faisant tourner l’antenne. Si la réception reste médiocre, il faut
utiliser une antenne extérieure.
• Branchez le cordon d’alimentation sur le secteur (220-240 V / 50 Hz).
ê Télécommande
Introduisez les 2 piles de type R6 fournies en respectant les polarités.
Les piles livrées avec l’appareil ne contiennent ni mercure ni cadmium nicke l ,d a n s
un souci de préserver l’env i r o n n e m e n t .Veillez à ne pas jeter vos piles usagées
mais à utiliser les moyens de recyclage mis à votre disposition (consultez votre
r ev e n d e u r ) . En cas de remplacement, utilisez des piles de même type.
® Mise en marche
Pour allumer le téléviseur, appuyez sur la touche marche-arrêt.
Un voyant s’allume en rouge et l’écran s’illumine.
Allez directement au chapitre installation rapide , page suivante.
Si le téléviseur reste en veille, appuyez sur la touche P de la
télécommande.
Le voyant clignote lorsque vous utilisez la télécommande.

Le téléviseur est équipé de 4 touches qui sont situées, selon les ve r s i o n s ,
à l’avant ou sur le dessus du coffre t .
Les touches VOLUME - + (-a+) permettent de régler le niveau sonore.
Les touches PROGRAM - + (- P +) permettent de sélectionner les
programmes.
Pour accéder aux menu s , ap p u yez simultanément sur les 2 touches
VOLUME - et VOLUME +. E n s u i t e, les touches PROGRAM - + permettent
de sélectionner un réglage et les touches VOLUME - + de régler.
Pour quitter le menu affiché, maintenez appuyées les 2 touches
VOLUME - et VOLUME +.
Remarque: lorsque la fonction VERROU est en service, les touches sont
inactivées (voir page 6).

Recherche des chaînes
Installation rapide (première mise en service)
Toutes les opérations qui suivent sont décrites dans le guide
d’installation rapide joint. Nous vous conseillons de l’utiliser.
La première fois que vous allumez le téléviseur, un menu apparaît à l’écran.
Ce menu vous invite à choisir la langue des menus.
Si le menu n’apparaît pas, maintenez appuyées pendant 4 secondes les touches
P RO G R A M - et P RO G R A M + ( o ua- et P-) du téléviseur, pour le faire appara î t r e.
æ Utilisez les touches numérotées à de la télécommande pour choisir
votre langue (pour le Français tapez ). Un autre menu apparaît.
 Sélectionnez ensuite votre pays (pour la France tapez ).
ê Dès que votre pays est entré, la recherche démarre automatiquement.
L’opération prend quelques minu t e s . L’affichage montre la pro g ression de la
re c h e rche et le nombre de programme tro u v é s . A la fin, le menu disparaît et
le dernier programme est affiché.
Si aucun programme n’est trouvé, reportez vous au chapitre conseils p. 8.
® Si l’émetteur ou le réseau câblé transmet le signal de classement
automatique, les programmes seront correctement numérotés.
† Si ce n’est pas le cas, les programmes tro u v é ss e ront nu m é r otés en ord re
d é c roissant à partir du nu m é r o 99, 9 8 ,9 7 ,. . . (ou 79,7 8 ,. . . ) .
Vous devez utiliser le menu C L A S S E M E N T pour les re nu m é ro t e r.
Certains émetteurs ou réseaux câblés diffusent leurs propres paramètres de
classement (région, langage, ...). Dans ce cas, vous devez indiquer votre choix avec
les touches puis valider avec .
æ Appuyez sur la touche . Le menu principal s’affiche à l’écran.
 Appuyez 1 fois sur pour sélectionner INSTALLATION et appuyez sur .
Le menu INSTALLATION apparaît. Le choix LANGUE est actif.
ê Appuyez 3 fois sur pour sélectionner CLASSEMENT et appuyez sur .
Le menu CLASSEMENT apparaît. Le choix DE est actif.
® Sélectionnez le programme que vous souhaitez renuméroter en utilisant les
touches ou à .
Exemple: vous voulez renuméroter le programme 78 en 2: tapez .
† Sélectionnez le choix A (touche ) et entrez le nouveau numéro souhaité
avec les touches ou à (dans notre exemple tapez )
Ú Sélectionnez ÉCHANGE (touche ) et appuyez sur . L’ i n d i c a t i o n
ÉCHANGÉ ap p a r a î t , l’échange s’effectue ( permet d’annu l e r ) . Dans notre
e xemple le programme 78 est re nu m é r oté en n° 2 (et le n° 2 en 78).
º Sélectionnez le choix DE (touche ) et recommencez les étapes ® à Ú
autant de fois qu’il y a de programmes à renuméroter.
î Pour quitter les menus, appuyez sur la touche .

Le menu INSTALLATION apparaît.
ê Utilisez les touches pour sélectionner un réglage et les touches
pour régler :
• LANGAGE: pour changer la langue d’affichage des menus.
• PAYS: pour sélectionner le pays ou vous êtes situé (F pour France). Ce
réglage intervient dans le classement automatique des programmes.
• RECHERCHE AUTO : appuyez sur pour démarrer la recherche.
L’opération prend quelques minu t e s . A la fin, le menu I N S TA L L AT I O N
r é apparaît automatiquement. Pour plus d’information voir le chapitre
Installation rapide , étapes ê à † de la page précédente.
Pour sortir ou interrompre la recherche, appuyez sur .
• PÉRIPHÉRIQUE: appuyez sur pour afficher le menu.Vous avez accès à
une série de noms vous permettant de personnaliser le nom des prises
extérieures. Ensuite, quand vous sélectionnez une prise extérieure, le nom
choisi s’affichera quelques instants.
® Pour quitter les menus, appuyez sur .
Pour effectuer la recherche manuellement
Ce menu permet de mémoriser les programmes un par un.
æ Appuyez sur la touche . Le menu principal s’affiche à l’écran.
 Appuyez 1 fois sur pour sélectionner INSTALLATION et appuyez sur .
ê Sélectionnez RECHERCHE MAN. (touche ) et appuyez sur .
Le menu RECHERCHE MAN. apparaît.
® Sélectionnez SYSTÈME (disponible uniquement sur certaines versions).
Utilisez la touche pour choisir A U T O (détection automatique de la norme de
réception) ou détection manu e l l e : E A S T- EU (DK) ou W E S T- EU (norme BG).
† Sélectionnez ACCORD et appuyez sur . La recherche commence.
Dès qu’un programme est trouvé le défilement s’arrête.
Si vous connaissez la fréquence du programme désiré, vous pouvez
composer directement son numéro avec les touches .
Si aucun programme n’est trouvé, reportez vous au chapitre conseils p. 8.
Ú Si la réception n’est pas satisfaisante sélectionnez RÉGL. FIN et maintenez
appuyée la touche ou pour affiner le réglage.
º Sélectionnez NUM. PROGRAM. et entrez le numéro de programme
souhaité à l’aide des touches ou .
î Sélectionnez MÉMORISER et appuyez sur .
L’indication MÉMORISÉ apparaît. Le programme est mémorisé.
œ Recommencez les étapes † à î autant de fois qu’il y a de programmes à
mémoriser.
Pour quitter les menus, appuyez sur la touche .

d’être mémorisés par PERSONNEL.
A p p u yez sur
.Vous pouvez régler : LUMIÈRE, COULEUR, CONTRASTE,
DÉFINITION, TEINTE, CONTRASTE+ et QUAL. IMAGE.
• DÉFINITION: agit sur la netteté de l’image,
• TEINTE: agit sur le rendu des couleurs.Vous avez 3 possibilités: FROIDE (plus bleue),
NORMAL (équilibrée) ou CHAUDE (plus rouge).
• CONTRASTE+: ajuste automatiquement le contraste de l’image en fonction de son
contenu (ramène en permanence la partie la plus sombre de l’image au noir).
• QUALITÉ IMAGE: permet d’atténuer le bruit de l’image (la neige). Ce réglage est
utile en cas de réception difficile.
A p p u yez sur .Vous pouvez régler V O L U M E.
• VOLUME (différence de volume): permet de compenser les écarts de volume qui
existent entre les différents programmes ou les prises EXT. Ce réglage est
opérationnel pour les programmes 1 à 40 et les prises EXT.

Pour sélectionner les appareils connectés
Appuyez sur la touche pour sélectionner EXT(1) et sur les
versions à 2 prises péritel: EXT2 et Y/C2 (signal S-VHS sur EXT2).
La plupart des appareils réalisent eux-mêmes la commutation (décodeur, ...)
Selon les versions, les prises sont situées à l’avant (parfois
sous un volet) ou sur le côté droit du téléviseur.
Casque
Lorsque le casque est connecté, le son du téléviseur est coupé.
Les touches a permettent de régler le volume.
L'impédance du casque doit être comprise entre 32 et 600 ohms.
Caméscope
C e rtains modèles sont équipés de connexions AU D I O / V I D É O.

EXT (ou EXT2 pour les versions à 2 prises

La commutation entre les prises arr i è res et les prises
en façade est automatique avec priorité sur les prises en façade.

Magnétoscope (seul)
Effectuez les raccordements ci-contre en utilisant un
cordon péritel de bonne qualité.
Si votre magnétoscope ne possède pas de prise péritel, seule la
liaison par le câble antenne est possible.Vous devez accorder le
programme numéro 0 du téléviseur sur le signal de test du
magnétoscope (voir recherche man. p. 4). Ensuite pour reproduire
l’image du magnétoscope, appuyez sur .
Magnétoscope avec Décodeur
Connectez le décodeur sur la deuxième prise péritel du
magnétoscope.Vous pourrez ainsi enregistrer les émissions
cryptées.
Récepteur satellite, décodeur, DVD, jeux,...
Pour les téléviseurs équipés de 2 prises péritel, c o n n e c t e z
de préférence à EXT1 les équipements délivrant les signaux
RVB (décodeur nu m é r i q u e, lecteurs DV D, j e u x ,...) et à EXT2
les équipements délivrant les signaux S-VHS (magnétoscopes
S-VHS et Hi-8).

Selon les versions, le téléviseur est équipé de 1 ou 2 prises péritel EXT1 et EXT2.
La prise EXT1 possède les entrées/sorties audio vidéo et les entrées RVB.

Absence ou mauvaise image
La proximité de montagnes ou de hauts immeubles peut être la cause d'image
d é d o u b l é e, d'écho ou d'ombre s . Dans ce cas, e s s ayez d’ajuster manu e l l e m e n t
l ’ a c c o rd de l’image avec R E G L . F I N ( p.4 ) .
Ave z - v ous le bon système (p.4 ) ?
Vérifiez que la prise d'antenne ou la prise péritel est bien connectée.
V é r i f i e z
également que vo t re antenne permet de re c evoir les émissions dans cette bande
de fréquences (bande UHF ou VHF) ?
Réglage de l’image
Si l’image est déréglée ou si vous épro u vez des difficultés à tro u ver un bon
r é g l a g e, sélectionnez un des préréglages de l’image ( p.2) et mémorisez le
avec le réglage P E R S O N N E L ( p. 6 ) .
En cas de réception difficile (image neigeuse),positionnez le réglage Q U A L I T É
I M A G E sur O N ( m a rc h e ) : p. 5 .
L’image est en noir et blanc
Pour la lecture d’une cassette vidéo,vérifiez qu’elle est enregistrée au même
standard que le magnétoscope (PAL, SECAM ou NTSC).
Absence de son
Si certains programmes sont dépourvus de son, mais pas d’image, c’est que vous
n’avez pas le bon système TV (p. 4).
Veille
Lorsque vous allumez le téléviseur, s’il reste en veille et que l’indication
V E R R O U I L L É s ' a f f i c h e,
c’est que la fonction V E R R O U est en service (p. 6 ) .
Si le
téléviseur ne reçoit pas de signal pendant
15 mn, il passe automatiquement en ve i l l e.
Lorsqu’il est en ve i l l e, le téléviseur consomme de l’énergie. Pour faire des économies,
nous vous conseillons de l’éteindre avec la touche marc h e - a rr ê t .
Toujours pas de résultats ?
En cas de panne, n’essayez jamais de réparer vous même le téléviseur, mais
consultez le service après vente.

A televízió üzembe helyezése
æ A televízió elhelyezése
Helyezzük a televíziót szilárd és stabil felületre oly módon, hogy a készülék
körül legalább 5 cm szabad hely maradjon.A veszélyes helyzetek elkerülése
érdekében semmit se tegyünk rá, ami lefedné azt (terítő), amiben folyadék
van (váza) vagy hőt bocsát ki (lámpa). Ezen kívül a televízióra nem szabad
vízsugarat irányítani.
 Csatlakozások
• Illesszük be az antennadugót a készülék hátoldalán található
M
csatlakozóba.
A kis képernyőméretű televíziók belső antennát tartalmaznak, ezért egyes
esetekben nehézkes lehet a vétel. Ezt javíthatjuk, ha elforgatjuk az antennát.
Ha a vétel még mindig gyenge, külső antennát kell használnunk.
• Csatlakoztassuk a hálózati zsinórt a hálózatba (220-240 V / 50 Hz).
ê A távirányító
H e lyezzük be a mellékelt 2 db R6 típusú elemet a + és – jeleknek megfe l e l ő e n .
A ké s z ü l é k k el szállított elemek nem tartalmaznak sem higanyt, sem nikke l - k a d m i u m o t
a kö r n ye zet védelme érd e ké b e n . Ne dobjuk el a lemerült elemeke t , hanem vegyük

az eladót). Ha ki kell cseré l n i ,a zonos típusú elemeket használjunk.
® Bekapcsolás
A televízió bekapcsolásához nyomjuk meg a ki- bekapcsolás gombot.
Kigyullad egy piros fényjelző és a képernyő kivilágosodik.
Lapozzunk közvetlenül a következő oldalon található gyors üzembe
helyezési részhez.
Ha a televízió továbbra is készenléti állapotban van, nyomjuk meg a
távirányítón a P gombot.
A távirányító használata közben a fényjelző villog.

A televízió 4 nyomógombbal van felszerelve, amelyek a modelltől függően
vagy a készülék elején, vagy annak tetején találhatók.
A V O L U M E - + (-a+) nyo m ó gombok a hangerő szabályozására szolgálnak.
A PROGRAM - + (- P +) nyomógombok a program kiválasztását teszik
lehetővé.
A menük eléréséhez nyomjuk meg egyszerre a
V O L U M E
– és a
V O L U M E
+ nyomógombokat. ezt követően a PROGRAM - + nyomógombbal
kiválaszthatjuk a beállítani kívánt funkciót és a
V O L U M E
- +
nyomógombokkal elvégezhetjük a beállítást.
Ha ki akarunk lépni a menüből, nyomjuk meg egyszerre a
V O L U M E
– és a

+ nyomógombokat.
Megjegyzés: a GYERMEKZÁR működése közben a nyomógombok nem
használhatók (lásd a 6. oldalt).

Az összes alábbi művelet megtalálható a mellékelt gyors üzembe
helyezési útmutatóban is.Tanácsos ennek használata.
Az első alkalommal, amikor bekapcsoljuk a televíziót, menü jelenik meg a
képernyőn. Ezzel kiválaszthatjuk a menük nyelvét.
Ha a menü nem jelenik meg, a megjelenítés érd e kében tartsuk 4 másodpercig
lenyomva a televízió PRO G R A M- és PROGRAM+ (vagy
a-
és
P -
) nyomógo m b j a i t .
æ A nyelvet a - számú nyomógombokkal választhatjuk ki (a magyarhoz
nyomjuk meg a -t). Megjelenik egy másik menü.
 Most kiválaszthatjuk az országot (Magyarországhoz nyomjuk le a -t).
ê Amikor megadtuk az országot, azonnal elindul a keresés.A folyamat eltart
néhány percig.A kijelző mutatja a keresés előrehaladását és a talált
programok számát.Végül megjelenik a menü és az utolsó program is
kijelzésre kerül.
Ha a keresés semmilyen programot sem talált, lapozzunk a 8. oldalon lévő
hasznos tudnivalókhoz.
® Ha az adó vagy a kábelhálózat automatikus műsorrendszerező jelet ad le, a
programok automatikusan megfelelő számozást kapnak.
† Ellenkező esetben a talált programok csökkenő sorrendű sorszámokat
kapnak: 99, 98, 97 stb. (vagy 79, 78 stb.).
Átszámozáshoz használjuk a FAJTA menüt.
Egyes adók vagy kábelhálózatok saját osztályozási paramétereket adnak (régió,
nyelv stb). Ebben az esetben választásunkat a és a nyomógombokkal
jelezhetjük és a -val érvényesíthetjük.
æ Nyomjuk le a gombot.A főmenü megjelenik a képernyőn.
 Nyomjuk le egyszer a gombot az INDÍTÁS kiválasztásához és nyomjuk le a
gombot.Az INDÍTÁS menü megjelenik.A NYELV menüpont aktív.
ê Nyomjuk le háromszor a gombot a FAJTA kiválasztásához és nyomjuk le
a gombot.A FAJTA menü megjelenik a -RÓL lehetőség aktív.
® Válasszuk ki az átszámozni kívánt programot a vagy a -
nyomógombok segítségével.
Példa: a 78-as programot kívánjuk átszámozni 2-re: írjuk be: .
† Válasszuk ki a -RA lehetőséget ( nyomógomb) és írjuk be a kívánt új
számot a vagy a - nyomógombok segítségével. (a példában
írjuk be a -t)
Ú Válasszuk ki a TÁROLÁS lehetőséget ( nyomógomb) és nyomjuk le a
gombot.A TÁROLVA felirat megjelenik és a tárolás végrehajtásra kerül
(a nyomógombbal érvényteleníthetjük). Példánkban a 78-as program
átszámozódott 2-re (és a 2 78-ra).
º Válasszuk ki a -RÓL lehetőséget ( nyomógomb) és kezdjük újra a ®-Ú
lépéseket annyiszor, ahány programot át kívánunk számozni.
î HA ki akarunk lépni a menüből, nyomjuk le a gombot.

æ Nyomjuk le a gombot.A főmenü megjelenik a képernyőn.
 Nyomjuk le egyszer a gombot az INDÍTÁS lehetőség kiválasztásához és
nyomjuk le a gombot.Az INDÍTÁS menü megjelenik.
ê A nyomógombok segítségével válasszuk ki és a
nyomógombokkal hajtsuk végre a beállítást:
• NYELV: a menük megjelenítési nyelvének megváltoztatása.
• ORSZÁG: az ország kiválasztása, ahol tartózkodunk (Magyarország: H). Ez a
beállítás a programok automatikus osztályozásakor lesz fontos.
• AUTOMATA KERESÉS : nyomjuk le a gombot a keresés elindításához.A
folyamat néhány percig tart.Végül automatikusan újra megjelenik az
INDÍTÁS.További információ érdekében lásd a Gyors üzembe helyezés
fejezet ê-† lépéseit az előző oldalon.
Ha ki akarunk lépni a keresésből vagy meg akarjuk azt állítani, nyomjuk le a
gombot.
• PERIFÉRIA: nyomjuk le a gombot a menü megjelenítéséhez. Egy sor
nevet érünk el, melyek a külső források megnevezésére szolgálnak. Utána,
amikor kiválasztjuk a külső forrást, a kiválasztott név megjelenik néhány
pillanatra.
® Ha ki akarunk lépni a menüből, nyomjuk le a gombot.
Kézi programkeresés
Ezzel a menüvel egyenként tárolhatjuk a programokat.
æ Nyomjuk le a gombot.A főmenü megjelenik a képernyőn.
 Nyomjuk le egyszer a gombot a KERESÉS kiválasztásához és nyomjuk le
a gombot.
ê Válasszuk ki a KÉZI TÁROL lehetőséget ( nyomógomb) és nyomjuk le a
gombot.A KÉZI TÁROL menü megjelenik.
® Válasszuk ki a RENDSZER lehetőséget (csak egyes változatokban elérhető).
A nyomógomb segítségével válasszuk ki a vételi normát:AUTO
(automatkeresés), EAST-EU (norma DK) vagy WEST-EU (norma BG).
† Válasszuk ki a KERESÉS lehetőséget és nyomjuk le a gombot.A keresés
elkezdődik. Ha programot talál, a keresés abbamarad.
Ha ismerjük a kívánt program frekvenciáját, közvetlenül is megadhatjuk azt a
- nyomógombok segítségével.
Ha a keresés semmilyen programot sem talált, lapozzunk a 8. oldalon lévő hasznos
tudnivalókhoz.
Ú Ha a vétel nem megfelelő, válasszuk ki a FINOM ÁLL lehetőséget és tartsuk
lenyomva a vagy a nyomógombokat a finomhangolás végrehajtásához.
º Válasszuk ki a PROG. SZÁM lehetőséget és a - nyomógombok
segítségével írjuk be a kívánt programszámot.
