1. SICHERHEITSHINWEISE

Halten Sie Ihren Arbeitsbereich sauber um Unfälle zu vermeiden.

Verwenden Sie das Gerät nicht in der Nähe von Zündquellen.

Halten Sie Kinder von Ihrem Arbeitsbereich fern.

Vermeiden Sie Körperkontakt mit geerdeten Oberflächen wie Rohre, Heizkörper etc. um die

Gefahr eines elektrischen Schlages zu minimieren.

Verwenden Sie das Gerät nicht in feuchter oder nasser Umgebung.

Tragen Sie das Gerät niemals am Stromkabel. Ziehen Sie niemals am Kabel um das Gerät aus-

zustecken. Überprüfen Sie das Stromkabel regelmässig auf Beschädigungen.

Wenn Sie das Gerät im Freien verwenden, schließen Sie es nur an speziell für Außennwendun-

gen geeignete Steckdosen oder Verlängerungskabel an.

Verwenden Sie immer geeignete Schutzkleidung und Augenschutz.

Um ein ungewolltes Anlaufen zu verhindern, vergewissern Sie sich, dass das Gerät ausgeschal-

tet ist, bevor Sie es anstecken.

Tragen Sie keine Kleidung oder Schmuckstücke, die sich aufgrund ihrer Länge im laufenden

Gerät verfangen können.

Trennen Sie das Gerät immer vom Stromnetz wenn sie Werkzeugwechsel oder Wartungsarbei-

ten durchführen.

Lassen Sie das Gerät niemals unbeaufsichtigt, wenn Kinder in der Nähe sind.

Überprüfen Sie das Gerät vor jedem Gebrauch auf Beschädigungen.

Lassen sie Ihr Gerät nur von qualifiziertem Fachpersonal reparieren und verwenden Sie nur

Die Poliermaschine dient zum Aufpolieren und Schleifen von Oberflächen. Jede andere Verwendung

ist nicht bestimmungsgemäß. Für alle Schäden/Verletzungen, die aus nicht bestimmungsgemäßer

Verwendung resultieren haftet der Benutzer des Gerätes, nicht jedoch der Hersteller/Händler.

Schrauben Sie den Handgriff (5) mit den mitgelieferten Schrauben in die dafür vorgesehenen Mon-

tagelöcher am Kopf der Poliermaschine. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass der Griff fest angeschraubt ist.

Drücken Sie die Spindelsperre (1) um die Spindel zu fixieren und schrauben Sie nun den Pad-

halter (5) an die Maschine.

Drücken Sie niemals die Spindelsperre wenn das Gerät eingeschaltet ist!

Sie können nun ein geeignetes Polier- oder Schleifpad befestigen.

Vergewissern Sie sich, dass Polier- oder Schleifpads mittig auf dem Padhalter montiert sind.

Andernfalls kann es zu Vibrationen kommen die das Werkstück und die Maschine beschädigen können.

Halten Sie die Klettflächen am Padhalter sauber.

Drehzahleinstellung

Das Gerät ist mit einem elektronischen Drehzahlregler (2) samt Display ausgestattet.

Schalten Sie das Gerät mit dem Ein/Aus Schalter (3) ein.

Wählen Sie nun eine Drehzahl (zwischen 1.000 und 3.000 U/min in 500er Schritten) durch

drücken der ⊕ und/oder ⊖ Tasten.

Das Display zeigt nur die ersten beiden Stellen der Drehzahl an (zB. „15“ bedeutet 1.500 U/min.).

Verwenden Sie beim Polieren geringere Drehzahlen, beim Schleifen höhere.

Verwenden Sie nie mehr als 1.500 U/min beim Polieren!

Verwenden Sie keine zu kleinen oder zu großen Polier-/Schleifpads (180 mm).

Vergewissern Sie sich, dass das Werkstück sicher fixiert ist (zB. auf einer Werkbank).

Bei 10-15° Neigung erzielt man üblicherweise die besten Ergebnisse beim Polieren/Schleifen.

Achten Sie darauf, dass die zu polierenden Oberflächen frei von Staub/Schmutz sind.

Achten Sie darauf, die zu polierende Oberfläche nicht mit der Kante des Padhalters zu zerkratzen! Ei-

nige Polierpads haben eine Schutzkrempe, die über den Rand des Padhalters gestülpt werden kann.

Wenden Sie keinen übermäßigen Druck an - das Eigengewicht des Gerätes ist ausreichend!

Polieren/Schleifen Sie kleine/enge Vertiefungen oder Kanten lieber von Hand, als mit der Poliermaschine.

1. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Always keep your work area well lit, clean and free of obstacles.

Do not use the product in the vicinity of ignition sources.

Keep children away from your work area.

Avoid contact with grounded surfaces (eg. pipes, radiators, etc.) to avoid the risk of electric shock.

Do not use the product in moist or wet areas.

Never carry the product on its electric cord. Do not pull the cord to unplug the product. Check the

cord for any damage on a regular basis.

When using the product outdoors, always use suitable outdoor-extension cords/outlets.

Always use propper personal protection equipment (eye-protection, gloves, etc.).

Make sure the product is turned off when plugging in the cable.

Do not wear loose clothing, jewellery or any other accessory that might get caught in the machine.

If you have long hair, wear a hair-net.

Always disconnect the powercord when doing maintainance work, cleaning or changing the mixer.

Never leave the product unattended when children are present.

Check the product for any sign of damage each time before you use it.

Do not attempt to repair the product when it is damaged! Repair work must only be done by au-

thorized, qualified service technicians.

Do not use excessive pressure when polishing or grinding - the weight of the machine generates

enough pressure. Excessive force may damage the machine and/or the surfaces you are working on.

Only use polishing discs and accessories that are suitable for this machine and the required rpm.

Do not touch the polishing discs when the machine is running.

Always replace worn down polishing and sanding discs for best results and to avoid damage to

the machine.

Any maintenance/repair work must be done by a authorized professionals only.

Mount the handle (4) to the machine using the supplied screws. Make sure the handle is screwed

in place firmly.

8. OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS

Press the spindle lock (1) button to keep the spindle from rotating and attach the padholder (5)

to the machine.

Never engage the spindle lock when the machine is plugged in and running!

You can now attach a suitable polishing or sanding pad to the padholder.

Make sure the pads are attached exactly centered on the padholder for smooth operation.

Eccentricity will cause the machine to vibrate/wobble and may damage the machine and/or your workpiece.

Keep the hook and loop fastener of both the padholder and the pads clean.

Rotation speed

The machine is equipped with a rmp-dial (2) and a display.

First switch the machine on using the on/off switch (3).

Then chose the desired rpm (between 1.000 and 3.000 rpm in increments of 500 rpm) by

pressing the ⊕ and ⊖ button on the rpm dial.

The number on the display multiplied by 100 indicates the chosen speed (e.g. „15“ on the dis-

play indicates a speed of 1.500 rpm).

Use fewer rpm for polishing and more rpm for sanding.

Do not use more than 1.500 rpm for polishing!

Do not use sanding or polishing pads that are too big or too small - they must have the same

diameter as the padholder (180mm).

Make sure that the piece you are working on is properly fixed to a workbench.

Usually an angle of about 10-15 degrees wields best results for polishing and sanding.

When polishing, make sure the surface is dry and dust-free.

Be careful not to touch and scratch the surface with the edge of the padholder - most polishing

bonnets have a rim that can be put over the edge of the padholder.

Never apply extra pressure - the weight of the machine itself is sufficient!

Polish/sand small indentations, folds, bumps, etc. by hand rather than using the machine.

1. CONSIGNES DE SÉCURITÉ

Faites en sorte que l‘aire de travail reste toujours propre, dégagée et bien éclairée.

Vérifiez que le bouton marche/arrêt est en position d‘arrêt avant de brancher l‘appareil.

Évitez de porter des vêtements amples, des bijoux et tout autre accessoire susceptible d‘être

happé par la machine. Si vous avez les cheveux longs, mettez un filet à cheveux.

Débranchez toujours le câble avant toute manipulation d‘entretien, de nettoyage ou de chan-

gement du mélangeur.

Ne laissez en aucun cas l‘appareil sans surveillance si des enfants se trouvent à proximité.

Avant chaque utilisation de l‘appareil, examinez-le afin de vous assurer qu‘il n‘est pas endommagé.

N‘essayez pas de réparer l‘appareil s‘il est endommagé ! Toute réparation doit être confiée à un

technicien de réparation dûment qualifié et agréé.

N‘exercez pas une pression excessive lors du polissage et du meulage - Le poids de l‘outil

génère une pression suffisante. Une force excessive peut endommager l‘outil et/ou les surfaces

que vous travaillez.

Utilisez exclusivement des accessoires et disques de polissage appropriés pour cet outil et la

vitesse de rotation requise.

Ne touchez pas les disques de polissage quand l‘outil est en marche.

Changez toujours les disques de ponçage et de polissage usés afin d‘optimiser les résultats et

d‘éviter d‘endommager l‘outil.

Toute opération d‘entretien ou de réparation doit être effectuée exclusivement par un professionnel agréé.

8. UTILISATION

Appuyez sur le bouton de blocage de la broche (1) pour empêcher la broche de tourner et as-

semblez le porte-patin (5) sur l‘outil.

N‘actionnez jamais le bouton de verrouillage de la broche quand l‘outil est branché et en marche!

Vous pouvez maintenant attacher un patin de polissage ou de ponçage sur le porte-patin.

Veillez à ce que les patins soient précisément centrés sur le porte-patin afin de permettre un

fonctionnement fluide. L‘excentricité fera vibrer/trembler l‘outil et peut endommager l‘outil et/

ou la pièce travaillée.

Maintenez les fixations auto-agrippante du porte-patin et des patins propres.

Vitesse de rotation

L‘outil est pourvu d‘un cadran de la vitesse de rotation (2) et d‘un affichage.

Allumez d‘abord l’outil en actionnant son interrupteur marche/arrêt (3).

Puis sélectionnez la vitesse de rotation désirée (entre 1000 et 3000 tr/min par incréments de

500 tr/min) en appuyant sur les boutons ⊕ et ⊖ du cadran de la vitesse de rotation.

Le nombre affiché multiplié par 100 indique la vitesse sélectionnée (par exemple « 15 » corres-

pond à une vitesse de 1500 tr/min).

Utilisez une vitesse de rotation moindre pour polir et supérieure pour poncer.

N‘utilisez pas une vitesse de rotation supérieure à 1500 tr/min pour polir !

N‘utilisez pas de patins de ponçage ou de polissages trop grands ou trop petits - Ils doivent être

du même diamètre que le porte-patin (180 mm).

Veillez à ce que la pièce à travailler soit correctement fixée sur un établi.

Généralement un angle de 10~15° environ permet d‘obtenir les meilleurs résultats pour le

polissage et le ponçage.

Lors des travaux de polissage, veillez à ce que la surface soit sèche et exempte de poussières.

Faites attention à ne pas toucher ni rayer la surface avec le bord du porte-patin - La plupart des

bonnets de polissage comportent une bordure pouvant être positionnée par-dessus le bord du

porte-patin.

N‘exercez jamais une pression supplémentaire - Le poids de l‘outil est suffisant !

Polissez/poncez les petites échancrures, stries, bosses, etc., à la main plutôt qu‘avec l‘outil.
