ALLGEMEINER SICHERHEITSHINWEIS

Angaben zur Geräuschemission gemäß Maschinen-

platz kann 85 dB (A) überschreiten. In dem Fall sind

Schallschutzmaßnahmen für den Bediener erforderlich

nach der deutschen Maschinenlärmschutzverordnung

VERWENDUNGSZWECK

Der Gartenhäcksler ist für die private Nutzung konzipiert

und zur Zerkleinerung von organischen Stoffen im Haus-

halt und Garten (Zweige; Äste; Heckenschnitt u.ä.)

geeignet. Der Häcksler darf nur stationär auf dem Boden

betrieben werden. Anderweitige Anwendung ist nicht

gestattet.

Der Gartenhäcksler ist mit einem Überlastungsschutz

ausgerüstet, welche bei Blockierung des Schneid-

werkzeuges innerhalb von kurzer Zeit die Maschine

automatisch abschaltet.

Sicherheitshinweise

A. Allgemeine Hinweise

1. Der Benutzer ist verantwortlich gegenüber Dritten im

Arbeitsbereich des Gerätes.

2. Jugendliche unter 16 Jahren sowie Personen unter

Einﬂuß von Alkohol-, Drogen oder Medikamenten

dürfen den Häcksler nicht bedienen.

3. Häcksler nur an Personen weitergeben (ausleihen),

die mit seiner Handhabung grundsätzlich vertraut

sind. Auf jeden Fall Gebrauchsanweisung mitgeben!

4. Häcksler nur für seine bestimmungsgemäße Ver-

wendung einsetzen. Beachten Sie die Hinweise am

Gerät.

5. Es darf nur Ausrüstung/Zubehör verwendet werden,

die vom Hersteller geliefert oder ausdrücklich für

den Anbau an dieser Maschine freigegeben wurden.

Auch dürfen keine Veränderungen vorgenommen

werden, da diese

zu erhöhter Unfallgefährdung

führen können.

6. Bei der Bedienung Handschuhe, Schutzbrille

und Gehörschutz tragen. Bei stauberzeugendem

Häckseln sind Gesichtschutz oder Schutzmaske zu

tragen!

7. Bei Arbeiten mit dem Häcksler sollte zweckmäßige

Kleidung getragen werden. Diese besteht aus eng

anliegender Arbeitskleidung, festen Handschuhen

und hohen Schuhen mit grifﬁger Sohle.

8. Das Gerät muss auf ebenem und festem Unter-

grund standsicher aufgestellt werden.

9. Nur bei guten Lichtverhältnissen arbeiten. Ge-

fährdung anderer durch Umsicht ausschließen.

10. Schützen Sie das Gerät vor eindringender Nässe.

Häckseln Sie nicht im Freien bei Regenwetter.

B. Anwendungshinweise

11. Vor jedem Arbeitsbeginn Häcksler auf einwand-freie

Funktion und vorschriftsmäßigen, betriebs-sicheren

Zustand prüfen. Besonders wichtig sind Anschluss-

und Verlängerungsleitung, Netzstecker, Schalter

und Schneidwerkzeug.

12. Beim Einschalten des Motors muss der Häcksler vor-

schriftsmäßig geschlossen sein. Schutzeinrichtungen

müssen verwendet und dürfen nicht verändert

werden. Prüfen ob der Einfülltrichter exakt verschlos-

sen ist. Notfalls Schrauben nachziehen.

13. Bei Arbeiten am Schneidwerkzeug immer erst das

Gerät abschalten; Netzstecker ziehen und auf den

kompletten Stillstand des Schneidwerkzeuges

warten. Verletzungsgefahr !

14. Gerät nur über einen Fehlerstromschalter an-

schließen mit max. Auslösestrom von 30 mA.

15. Die Steckvorrichtung des Geräteanschlusskabels

muss spritzwassergeschützt sein, und darf nur ein

dreiadriges Kabel sein, welches am Schutzleiter

angeschlossen ist.

16. Leitungen müssen mind. H05RNF nach DIN

57282 Teil 817/VDE 0282 Teil 817 oder Gummi-

schlauchleitungen sein, sowie mindestens einen

Querschnitt von 1,5 mm

haben. Stecker und

Kupplung müssen für den Gebrauch im Freien

zugelassen sein. Anschlussleitung von den Schneid-

werkzeugen fernhalten.

C. Hinweise zum sicheren Gebrauch

17. Während der Arbeit ist auf Fremdkörper zu achten.

Keine Steine, Glas, Eisen, Knochen, Kunststoff

usw. einfüllen, da dies zu Beschädigungen und

Rückschlägen durch den Einfülltrichter führen kann.

Verstopfungen aus gleichem Grund beseitigen.

18. Es darf nicht in den Messerraum oder in den Aus-

wurf gegriffen werden.

19. Beim Einschalten sowie beim Arbeiten nicht vor der

Auswurföffnung stehen. Außerdem darf sich kein

Häckselmaterial im Gerät beﬁnden.

20. Bei laufendem Gerät nie Gesicht oder andere

Körperteile über den Einfülltrichter und vor den

Auswurf halten, niemals mit den Händen in den

Einfülltrichter oder Auswurfschacht hineingreifen.

Es besteht eine erhebliche Verletzungsgefahr für

Augen, Gesicht und Finger.

21. Die Schneidwerkzeuge sind regelmäßig auf sicheren

Sitz und auf Beschädigungen zu überprüfen.

22. Vor dem Verlassen des Gerätes ist der Motor

auszu-schalten und der Netzstecker zu ziehen.

Alle beweglichen Teile müssen ganz zum Stillstand

kommen:

- bevor Sie Blockierungen lösen oder Verstopfungen

im Auswurfkanal beseitigen.

- bevor Sie den Häcksler überprüfen, reinigen oder

Arbeiten an ihm durchführen.

- bevor Sie den Häcksler verlassen.

23. Falls der Häcksler ungewöhnliche Geräusche ent-

wickelt oder beginnt stark zu vibrieren, ist eine

sofortige Überprüfung erforderlich. Achten Sie

auf Nachlauf der Schneidwerkzeuge, der nach

Abschalten des Motors wenige Sekunden beträgt.

24. Motor erst abstellen, wenn der Häcksler ganz leer

ist. Andernfalls kann es zu Wiederanlaufschwierigk

eiten kommen.

25. Wenn der Motor wegen Überlastung oder zu wenig

Spannung stoppt, schalten Sie den Motor ab und

lassen Sie ihn 3 bis 5 Minuten abkühlen. Dann den

Überlastschalter drücken und anschließend das

Gerät wieder anschalten.

D. Wartung und Lagerung

26. Wartungs- und Reinigungsarbeiten am Gerät dürfen

nur bei abgeschalteten Motor und gezogenem Netz-

stecker vorgenommen werden.

27. Achtung ! Verletzungsgefahr am Schneidwerkzeug

bei abgenommenem Fülltrichter!

28. Nur Wartungsarbeiten ausführen, die in der

Gebrauchsanweisung beschrieben sind.

29. Falls für Wartungsarbeiten Bauteile oder Schutz-

vorrichtungen entfernt wurden, sind diese danach

umgehend und vorschriftsmäßig wieder anzu-

bringen.

30. Bewahren Sie den Häcksler an einem trockenen,

sicheren Platz außerhalb der Reichweite von Kinder

auf.

Montage (Abb. 1-4)

1. Legen Sie das Hauptgehäuse des Häckslers auf eine

ﬂache Oberﬂäche, der Griff zeigt nach oben. Bringen

Sie das Fahrgestell in den dafür vorgesehenen

Bohrungen an (Abb.1). Das Fahrgestell wird so in

die Bohrungen eingesetzt, dass sich der Standfuß

unterhalb des Auswurftrichters beﬁndet. Achtung:

Nicht verkehrt herum einsetzen !

2. Schrauben Sie es mit den beiden Schrauben (5) fest

(Abb.2)

3. Entfernen Sie die Sicherungsmutte

rn von der

beigepackten Radachse und nehmen Sie alle

aufgeschobenen Teile von der Achse ab. Schieben

Sie nun die Achse in die vorgesehenen Bohrungen

des Fahrgestells und schieben Sie alle Teile in der

Reihenfolge wie in Abb. 3 gezeigt auf die Radachse

auf, - jeweils auf beiden Seiten. Die Räder werden so

eingesetzt, dass sich die vorstehende Radnabe innen

beﬁndet , - die ﬂache Seite aussen (Abb. 4 ). Ziehen

Sie die Sicherungsmuttern gut fest und drücken Sie

abschliessend die Abdeckkappen auf die Räder.

ARBEITEN MIT DEM GARTENHÄCKSLER

Achtung! Machen Sie sich vor Inbetriebnahme

mit dem richtigen Gebrauch der Maschine durch

das aufmerksame Durchlesen der Gebrauchs-

anweisung vertraut.

Achtung! Vor jeder Inbetriebnahme ist das Gerät zu

überprüfen, ob es vorschriftsmäßig verschlossen

ist.

• Geräteanschlussleitung mit dem Ga

rtenhäcksler

verbinden. Vor der Inbetriebnahme muss die Geräte-

anschlussleitung auf Anzeichen von Beschädigungen

untersucht und darf nur im einwandfreien Zustand

benutzt werden. Es ist nur eine Schuko-Steckdose

zulässig, zu deren Absicherung ein 16 A Schutzschalter

vorzusehen ist.

• Auffangkorb direkt unterhalb Auswurfschacht stellen.

• Bei der Arbeit mit dem Gartenhäcksler sollte zweck-

mäßige Kleidung getragen werden. Diese besteht aus

eng anliegender Arbeitskleidung, festen Handschuhen

und hohen Schuhen mit grifﬁger Sohle. Tragen Sie

zudem eine Schutzbrille und Gehörschutz!

• Schalter B (Abb.5)

in Position „I” drücken. Achten Sie

darauf, dass sich beim Einschalten kein Häckselgut im

Gerät beﬁndet.

• Der Gartenhäcksler verfügt über einen eingebauten

Überlastschalter (C) (Abb.5), der bei Überlastung oder

Blockieren der Messerscheibe selbtstätig abschaltet.

Nach der Beseitigung der Ursache und Abwarten

der Abkühlzeit ist das Gerät wieder betriebsbereit.

Drücken Sie dann auf den Überlastschalter, um ihn

wieder zu aktivieren. Erst danach das Gerät mit dem

Netzschalter einschalten.

• Wenn der Motor wegen Überlastung oder zu wenig

Spannung stoppt, schalten Sie den Motor ab und

lassen Sie ihn 3 bis 5 Minuten abkühlen. Dann

den Netzschalter drücken und das Gerät wieder

anschalten.

• Zum Ausschalten den Schaltknopf B (Abb.5) einfach

in die Position „O” drücken. Durch die eingebaute

Motorbremse kommt der Motor innerhalb von wenigen

• Organische Stoffe wie z.B. Zweige, Äste, Sträucher,

Blumenstengel, Laub usw. können zugeführt werden.

Für frischen Holzschnitt können Äste bis zu einem

Durchmesser von ca. 35 mm gehäckselt werden.

• Baumschnitt sollte so rasch wie möglich gehäckselt

werden, da dieser bei Austrocknung sehr hart

werden kann. Dementsprechend sind dann die max.

Astdurchmesser geringer zu halten.

• Stark wasserhaltige Gartenabfälle wie Gemüseblätter,

Blumenstengel usw. neigen zum Verkleben und können

den Auswurf verstopfen. Nach einigen Tagen Trocken-

zeit sind derartige Abfälle besser zu verarbeiten.

• Achtung! Bei gut geschliffenen Messern ist die

Einzugkraft sehr stark. Daher bei stärkeren Ästen

kräftig gegenhalten, damit der Motor nicht überlastet

wird. Wir empfehlen Arbeitshandschuhe sowie eine

Schutzbrille zu tragen.

• Es ist vorteilhaft, zwischendurch oder am Schluss

trockenes Häckselgut zu verarbeiten. Die Feuchtigkeit

im Gerät wird dadurch aufgesaugt und das Gehäuse-

innere reinigt sich von selbst.

• Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Gartenhäcksler beim

Abschalten völlig entleert ist, da nicht gehäckselte

Materialien das Messerwerk beim erneuten Anlaufen

blockieren könnten.

Überlastungsschutz

Blockierung: Falls die Maschine du

rch Überfüllung

verstopft wird, schaltet sich automatisch der Über-

lastschutz ein. In diesem Fall schaltet sich der Motor aus

und der Sicherheitsausschalter (C) (Abb. 5) springt nach

vorn. Versuchen Sie nicht, den Schalter zurückzustellen,

bevor die Blockierung entfernt wurde.

Ziehen Sie erst den Netzstecker des Geräts. Schrauben

Sie den Verriegelungsknopf (A) (Abb.5) los und heben

Sie den oberen Fülltrichter vom Hauptgehäuse des

Gerätes weg, um die Blockierung entfernen zu können.

Warnung: Tragen Sie Handschuhe und kommen Sie

den Messern nicht zu nahe, während Sie unter dem

geöffneten Fülltrichter arbeiten.

Wenn die Blockierung entfernt wurde, setzen Sie den

oberen

Fülltrichter zurück und versichern Sie sich,

dass der Verriegelungsknopf (A) fest angezogen ist.

Drücken Sie den Sicherheitsausschalter (C) in die

Ausgangsposition zurück, um das Gerät zurückzustellen

und stecken Sie den Stecker wieder ein, um weiter zu

häckseln.

Einfülltrichter

Das Häckseln und Mulchen erfolgt durch das natürliche

Ansaugen des Abfalls durch

den Messerbereich.

Falls Sie feineren Mulch wünschen, geben Sie den

Mulch noch einmal durch den Häcksler, bis Sie das

gewünschte Ergebnis erhalten. Überfüttern Sie das

Gerät nicht und geben Sie keinen nassen, feuchten

Abfall in den Häcksler, da dies den Messerbereich und

die Auslaufrutsche verstopfen könnte.

Warnung: Schalten Sie das Gerät aus und trennen

Sie das Kabel von der Stromversorgung. Tragen Sie

Handschuhe und kommen Sie den Messern nicht zu

nahe, während Sie unter dem geöffneten Fülltrichter

arbeiten. Lösen Sie zur Entfernung der Blockierung

den Verriegelungsknopf (A) (Abb.7) und heben Sie den

oberen Fülltrichter vom Hauptgehäuse des Gerätes weg

(Abb.8). Wenn die Blockierung entfernt wurde, setzen

Sie den oberen Fülltrichter zurück und versichern Sie

sich, dass der Verriegelungsknopf fest angezogen ist.

Verbinden Sie das Kabel wieder mit der Stromversorgung

und schalten Sie das Gerät erneut ein, um weiter zu

häckseln.

Warnung: Achten Sie besonders darauf, die Schneid-

messer nicht zu berühren.

WARTUNG DER MESSER (Abb. 8-10)

• Trennen Sie das Gerät von der Stromversorgung

und öffnen Sie den Fülltrichter. Nehmen Sie den

Fülltrichter ab, indem Sie die Sicherungsmutter (D)

entfernen (Abb.8).

• Lösen Sie die acht Sicherheitsschrauben (E) und

entfernen Sie die Abdeckplatte der Messerscheibe.

• Die Messer können jetzt entfernt werden, indem Sie

die zwei Sechskantschrauben (F) an jedem Messer

abschrauben (Abb. 10)

• Zur erneuten Montage verfahren Sie in umgekehrter

Reihenfolge

WARTUNG UND PFLEGE

Achtung! Nach Beendigung Ihrer Arbeit bitte immer

zuerst den Stecker ziehen und dann den Häcksler

reinigen.

Reinigung

• Vor Reinigung immer:

- das Gerät ausschalten.

General Safety Information

Information on noise emission in accordance with

“Machine Noise Information Ordinance 3. GPSGV

and Machinery Directives: The sound pressure level

at the workplace can exceed 85 dB (A). In this case,

appropriate protective measures must be taken by are

user (e.g. wear hearing protection).

Attention noise control! Please observe the regional

regulations when starting up the machine

Attention: The following fundamental safety measures

must be observed when using electrical tools as

protection against electric shock, injury and the risk of

ﬁre. Read and observe all of these instructions before

using this electrical tool. Keep the safety instructions in

a safe place.

Intended Use

The garden shredder has been designed for private

use and is suitable for shredding organic materials in

the household and garden (branches; boughs; hedge

cuttings etc.). The shredder may only be used when at a

standstill on the ground. Any other use is not permitted.

This machine is with ﬁtted with a braking function, which

brakes the cutting tool within a few seconds when the

machine is switched off; or the locking screw is loosened;

of the mains cable is removed and if there are any mains

faults. This function has been developed as protection

against contact with the cutting tool during intentional or

unexpected opening of the housing.

The garden shredder is ﬁtted with a overload protection,

which automatically switches off the machine within a

short space of time if the cutting tool becomes blocked.

Safety Information

A. General Information

1. The user is responsible for third parties in the working

area of the machine.

2. Young people under the age of 16 and persons under

the inﬂuence of alcohol, drugs or medications must

not use the shredder.

3. Only pass on (lend) the shredder to people who are

familiar with handling it. Always ensure you give them

the instructions for use too!

4. Only use the shredder for its intended purpose. Read

and observe the information given on the machine.

5. Only equipment /accessories supplied by the supplier

or explicitly released for attachment to this machine

may be used. No modiﬁcations may be made as

these can lead to an increased risk of accidents.

6. When using the machine, always wear gloves, safety

goggles and hearing protection. When

shredding

materials which produce a lot of dust, wear face pro-

tection or a facemask!

7. When working with the shredder, you should always

wear suitable clothing. This means close ﬁtting

work clothing, ﬁrm gloves and heeled shoes with a

gripping sole.

8. The machine must be set up in a stable position on

ﬁrm and even ground.

9. Only work in well-lit conditions. Preclude risk to

others by taking the necessary precautions.

10. Protect the machine against penetrating liquids (e.g.

rain). Do not shred in the open when it is raining.

B. Instructions for Use

11. Before starting work, always ensure that you check

that the shredder is functioning perfectly and check its

prescribed, safe operating condition. The connection

and extension cable, mains plug, switch and cutting

tool are particularly important.

12. When switching on the motor the shredder must

be properly connected. Safety equipment must be

used

and must not be altered. Check whether the

ﬁller funnel has been properly fastened. If necessary

tighten the screws.

13. Always switch off the machine when working on the

cutting tool; disconnect the plug from the mains and

wait until the cutting tool has come to a complete stop.

Risk of injury!

14. Only connect the machine via a residual current

circuit breaker with a max. tripping current of 30 mA.

15. The plug of the machine’s connection cable must be

protected against splashing water, and may only be a

three-core cable which is connected to the protected

earth conductor.

16. Cables must be at least H05RNF to DIN 57282 Part

817/VDE 0282 Part 817 or be rubber hose cables,

and have a cross section of at least 1.5 mm

. The

plug and coupling must be approved for use in the

open air. Keep the connection cable away from the

cutting tools.

C. Information about Safe Use

17. While using the machine, watch out for foreign

bodies. Do not put any stones, glass, iron, bones,

plastics, etc. in the machine as these can lead to

damage and kick back through the ﬁller funnel.

Remove all blockages for the same reason.

18. Never reach into

the space where the cutters are or

the ejector.

19. When switching on the machine and while working,

do not stand in front of the ejection opening.

Furthermore, there should not be any shredded

material in the machine.

20. While the machine is running, never stand with your

face or other parts of your body above the ﬁller funnel

and in front of the ejector, never reach into the ﬁller

funnel or ejection chute with your hands. There is

a signiﬁcant risk of injury to your eyes, face and

ﬁngers.

21. The cutting tools must be checked regularly for a

secure ﬁt and for damage.

22. Before leaving the machine unattended, the motor

must always be switched off and the machine

disconnected from the mains. All moving parts must

come to a complete stop:

- before you undo any blockages or remove

blockages in the ejector chute.

- before you check, clean or carry out work on the

shredder.

- before you leave the shredder unattended.

23. If the shredder develops unusual noises or begins

to vibrate a lot, you must carry out an immediate

inspection. Ensure that you remember to wait for

the cutting tools after run to stop, this lasts for a few

seconds after switching off the motor.

24. Do not switch off the motor until the shredder is

completely empty. Otherwise problems can occur

when you restart the machine.

25. If the motor stops because of overload or insufﬁcient

voltage, switch off the motor and leave it to cool for

3 to 5 minutes. Then press the circuit breaker and

switch the appliance back on again.

D. Servicing and Storage

26. Servicing and cleaning work may only be carried out

on the machine when the motor is switched off and

the plug has been disconnected from the mains.

27. Attention! There is a risk of cutting injuries when the

ﬁller funnel is removed!

28. Only carry out

servicing works which are described in

the instructions for use.

29. If components or safety equipment have been

removed in order to carry out servicing works, they

must be immediately and properly installed again as

soon as these works are ﬁnished.

30. Keep the shredder in a dry, secure place out of reach

of children.

Assembly (Fig. 1-4)

1. Put the shredder’s main housing on a level surface

with the handle pointing upwards. Insert the ends of

the trolley in the provided holes (Fig. 1). The trolley

must be put into the holes in such a way that the stand

is located below the ejection funnel. Caution: Do not

insert in the wrong way!

2. Fix it with the two screws (5) (Fig. 2).

3. Remove the locknuts from the provided axle and then

remove all parts that have been slid on the axle. Now

slide the axle into the provided holes of the trolley and

slide all parts on the axle as shown in Fig. 3 – on both

ends of the axle. The wheels must be put on in such

a way that the protruding wheel hub is located on the

inner side and the ﬂat side on the outer side (Fig. 4).

Tighten the lock nuts ﬁrmly and ﬁnally push the wheel

caps onto the wheels.

Working with the Garden Shredder

Attention! Before starting up the machine,

familiarise yourself with its proper use by

carefully reading through the instructions for

use.

Attention! Before starting up the machine, you must

always check whether it has been properly closed.

• Connect the machine’s connection cable to the gar-

den shredder. Before staring up, the machine’s con-

nection cable must be checked for signs of damage

and may only be used in a perfect condition. Only

socket outlets with earthing contacts with a 16A safety

fuse are permitted to be used.

• Place the collection bag/basket directly under the

ejection chute.

• While working with the garden shredder you should

wear sensible clothing. This consists of closeﬁtting

work clothes, ﬁrm gloves and heeled shoes with a

well-gripping sole. You should also wear safety gog-

gles and hearing protection!

• Press the switch B (Fig. 5) in position “I”. Ensure that

there is no shredding material in the machine when

you switch it on.

• The garden shredder is equipped with an integrated

overload cut-out C (Fig. 5) that automatically switches

in case there is an overload or the cutting blade is

blocked. After the reason for the overload or blocking

has been removed and the device has sufﬁciently

cooled down, the shredder will be ready for operation

again. Push the overload cut-out to activate this

protection feature again. Only then switch on the device

using the mains switch.

• If the motor stops because of overload or insufﬁcient

voltage, switch off the motor and leave it to cool for 3

to 5 minutes. Then press the no-volt switch and switch

the appliance back on again.

• To switch off, simply turn the switch knob B (Fig. 5) to

the Position “O”. The integrated motor brake brings

the motor to a stop within a few seconds.

• Organic materials, e.g. branches, twigs, shrubs,

ﬂower stems, leaves, etc. can be fed into the machine.

Branches up to approx. 35 mm diameter can be

shredded if the woodcuttings are fresh.

• Tree trimmings should be shredded as quickly as

pos-sible as they can become very hard when they

dry out. Accordingly the max. branch diameter will be

smaller.

• Garden waist which is very moist such as vegetable

leaves, ﬂower stems, etc. tend to stick and can block

the ejector. Such waste is easier to shred after being

left to dry for a few days.

• Attention! The suction force is very high when the

blades are sharp. Therefore, when shredding thicker

branches hold on fast to the branch so that the motor

is not overloaded. We recommend that you wear work

gloves and safety goggles.

• It is useful to shred dry material every now and again

or at the end. This absorbs the moisture in the ma-

chine and the inside of the housing cleans itself.

• Ensure that the garden shredder is completely empty

when you switch it off, as unshredded materials can

block the blades when restarting.

overfeeding, the overload protection will be activated

automatically. In this case, the motor is switched off and

the safety switch (C) (Fig. 5) jumps forward. Do not attempt

to put the switch back in operating position as long as the

blockage has not been removed.

Pull the mains plug of the machine

, ﬁrst. Unscrew the

locking knob (A) (Fig. 5) and lift the upper feeding funnel

off of the main housing to be able to remove the blockage

(Fig. 6).

Warning: Wear gloves and stay away form the blades

when working under the open feeding funnel.

When the blockage has been removed, put the feeding

funnel back in place and make sure that the locking knob

(A) has been tightened ﬁrmly. Push

back in its initial position to

reset the machine to operating

mode and connect the mains plug again to continue

shredding.

Shredding and mulching takes place

s as the material

fed into the machine is ‘naturally’ draw-in by the rotating

blades. If you should desire a ﬁner mulching result feed the

mulched material into the machine again until the desired

result has been achieved. Do not overfeed the machine

and do not feed it with wet, moist material as this might

obstruct the blade area and the ejection funnel.

Warning: Switch the machine off and disconnect the plug

from the mains supply. Wear gloves and stay away form

the blades when working under the open feeding funnel.

To rem

ove the blockage unscrew the locking knob (A)

(Fig. 7) and lift the upper feeding funnel off of the main

housing (Fig. 8). When the blockage has been removed,

put the feeding funnel back in place and make sure that

the locking knob has been tightened ﬁrmly. Connect the

plug with the mains supply and switch the machine on

again to continue shredding.

Warning: Particularly beware of touching the cutting

blades!

BLADE MAINTENANCE (Fig. 8-10)

• Disconnect the machine from the mains supply and

open the feeding funnel. Remove the lock nut (D) and

remove the feeding funnel (Fig. 8).

• Unscrew the eight safety screws (E) and remove the

cover plate of the cutting disc (Fig. 9).

• The blades may now be removed by loosening the two

hexagon socket screws (F) on each blade (Fig. 10).

• Proceed in reversed order to reassemble the cutting

disc. Tighten the blade screws very ﬁrmly!

Service and Care

Attention! After ﬁnishing you work, always

disconnect the machine from the mains and then

clean the shredder.

Cleaning

Before cleaning the shredder, always...

- switch off the machine.

- disconnect the machine from the mains.

- wait for the cutting blades to come to a standstill.

• The garden shredder is an electrical machine. There-

fore

you must always ensure that no water gets inside

it! Penetrating water can damage the switch and plug

as well as the electric motor.

• Use a hand brush or cloth to remove shredder re-

mains

from the machine.

• The garden shredder is virtually maintenance free,

except the cutting blades which are subject to normal

wear.

• Check each time before starting up whether all the

parts are securely ﬁtted!

Transport and Storage

• Store your shredder in a dry room, and out of reach of

children.

Repair Service

Repairs to electrical tools may only be carried out by

skilled electricians.

If you send the machine to us for repair, please describe

the fault.

Attention! Electrical repairs may only be carried

out by a skilled electrician or a customer service

workshop!

Waste disposal and environmental protection

If your device should become useless somewhere in the

future or you do not need it any longer, do not dispose

of the device together with your domestic refuse, but dis-

pose of it in an environmentally friendly manner. Please

dispose of the device itself at an according collecting/re-

cycling point. By doing so, plastic and metal parts can

be separated and recycled. Information concerning the

disposal of materials and devices are available from your

local administration.

Domaine d’application

Le hacheur de jardin est conçu pour un usage privé

et est destiné à la coupe en petits morceaux de

substances organiques d’origine domestique et végétale

(branchages, branches, coupe de haieset autres). Le

hacheur ne doit être utilisé que stationnaire sur le sol.

Toute autre utilisation est interdite.

Le hacheur est équipé d’une protection de surcharge qui

interrompt l’appareil automatiquement en un court laps

de temps en cas de blocage de l’outil de coupe.

le matériel haché produit de la poussière, portez

également un masque de protection sur le visage.

7. Lors du travail avec le hacheur, il est recommandé

de s’habiller fonctionnellement. Le port de vêtements

de travail ajustés au corps, de gants solides et

de chaussures montantes avec une semelle anti-

dérapante est conseillé.

8. L’appareil doit être placé sur un sol plat et ferme et

être bien assuré.

9. Ne travaillez que dans de bonnes conditions de

luminosité. Evitez de mettre par inadvertance d’autres

personnes en danger.

10. Protégez l’appareil contre toute pénétration d’humi-

dité. Ne hachez pas en plein air par temps de pluie.

B. Précautions d’emploi

11. Avant de commencer votre travail avec le hacheur,

vériﬁez à chaque fois qu’il est en parfait état de

fonctionnement et de conformité avec les prescriptions

d’utilisation destinées à votre sécurité. Attachez une

importance particulière au câble et à la rallonge de

câble, à la prise de courant, à l’interrupteur et à l’outil

de coupe.

12. Au moment de mettre le moteur en marche, le hacheur

doit être correctement fermé. Les équipements de

protection doivent être utilisés et ne subir aucune

modiﬁcation. Vériﬁez que l’entonnoir de remplissage

est bien exactement ﬁxé. Le cas échéant, resserrer

les vis.

13. Lors de travaux sur

l’outil de coupe, commencez

toujours par éteindre l’appareil. Retirez la prise et

attendez l’arrêt complet de l’appareil. Risque de

blessure!

14. Ne branchez l’appareil que sur un interrupteur à

courant de défaut avec courant de déclenchement

de 30mA maximum.

15. L’équipement de connexion du câble de raccordement

de l’appareil doit être protégé contre les projections

d’eau. Seul un câble à trois brins raccordé au con-

ducteur de protection (terre) est autorisé.

16. Les câbles doivent être des câbles H05RNF au

moins selon la norme DIN 57282 section 817/

VDE 0282 section 817 ou mantelés en caoutchouc

et avoir une dimension transversale de 1,5 mm

minimum. Les prises mâle et femelle doivent être

prévues pour une utilisation à l’extérieur. Tenir le

câble de raccordement éloigné des outils de coupe.

C. Conseils en vue d’une utilisation en toute

17. Pendant que vous travaillez, prêtez attention aux

corps étrangers. Ne pas remplir de pierres, verre,

métal, os, plastique ou autres matériaux, ceux-ci

pouvant conduire à des endommagements et des

chocs en retour par l’entonnoir de remplissage. Pour

la même raison, veillez à éliminer les obstructions.

18.

Ne mettez pas la main dans l’espace réservé aux

lames ni dans le trou de sortie.

19. Ne pas rester devant le trou de sortie au moment

de l’allumage de l’appareil ou pendant son

fonctionnement. De plus, le hacheur doit être vide

au moment de l’allumage.

20. Lorsque l’appareil est en marche, ne penchez pas le

visage ou toute autre partie du corps au-dessus de

l’entonnoir de remplissage ni devant le trou de sortie

et ne plongez jamais les mains dans l’entonnoir de

remplissage ou dans le canal de sortie. Les yeux,

le visage et les mains seraient alors exposés à un

grand danger.

21. Les outils de coupe doivent être régulièrement

contrôlés au niveau de la sûreté de leur ﬁxation et

d’éventuels endommagements.

22. Avant de quitter l’appareil, arrêtez le moteur et retirez

la prise. Tous les éléments mobiles doivent être à

l’arrêt complet:

- avant que vous ne relâchiez les blocages ou

éliminiez les obstructions dans le canal de sortie

- avant que vous ne contrôliez le hacheur, nettoyiez

ou effectuiez des travaux sur l’appareil

- avant que vous ne quittiez le hacheur.

23. Au cas où le hacheur produirait des bruits anormaux

ou commencerait à vibrer fortement, il vous faut

procéder à un contrôle immédiat. Pensez que les

outils de coupe marchent à retardement quelques

secondes encore après que le moteur ait été arrêté.

24. N’arrêtez le moteur que lorsque le hacheur est

complètement vide. En cas contraire, des difﬁcultés

de remise en route pourraient apparaître.

25. Si le moteur s’arrête pour cause de surcharge ou de

manque de tension, éteignez le moteur et laissez-

le refroidir de 3 à 5 minutes. Ensuite appuyez sur

l’interrupteur à minimum de tension et remettez

l’appareil en marche.

D. Entretien et entreposage

26. Les travaux d’entretien et de nettoyage de l’appareil

ne peuvent être effectués que le moteur éteint et la

ﬁche mâle débranchée.

27. Attention! Risque de blessure par l’outil de coupe

lorsque l’entonnoir de remplissage est démonté !

28. Ne procédez qu’aux travaux d’entretien décrits dans

mode d’emploi.

29. Au cas ou des éléments constitutifs ou des

équipements de protection auraient été démontés

pour procéder aux travaux d’entretien, ceux-ci sont

à remonter correctement immédiatement après

l’exécution des travaux.

30. Entreposez le hacheur à un endroit sûr et sec, hors

d’atteinte des enfants.

Montage (ill.1-4)

1. Placez le carter principal du hacheur sur une surface

plane, la poignée dirigée vers le haut. Placez le

châssis dans les oriﬁces prévus à cet effet (Ill.1).

Le châssis est à positionner dans les oriﬁces de

façon à ce que le pied de stabilisation se trouve

sous l’entonnoir de remplissage. Attention : ne le

positionnez pas à l’envers !

2. Fixez-le fermement à l’aide des deux vis (5) (Ill.2)

3. Dévissez les écrous de blocage de l’essieu de la

roue joint à l’appareil et enlevez toutes les pièces

placées sur l’essieu. Poussez à présent l’essieu dans

les oriﬁces prévues au châssis et glissez toutes les

pièces sur l’essieu, dans l’ordre indiqué sur l’ill.3

– procédez de la même façon des deux côtés. Les

roues sont ﬁxées de façon à ce que le moyeu de roue

saillant se trouve à l’intérieur - le côté plat se trouvant

alors à l’extérieur (Ill.4). Vissez les écrous de blocage

à fond et appuyez ensuite les protections sur les

roues.

Le travail avec le hacheur

Attention! Avant la mise en service, familiarisez-

vous avec le maniement correct de l’appareil en

lisant attentivement la présente notice.

Attention! Avant chaque mise en service, il vous faut

contrôler que l’appareil est correctement fermé.

• Raccorder le câble de raccordement au hacheur de

jardin. Avant la mise en service, le câble de raccorde-

ment doit être contrôlé aﬁn de détecter d’éventuels

signes d’endommagement ; il ne peut être utilisé

que s’il est en parfait état. Seule une ﬁche à contact

de protection dont la protection par fusibles est

assurée par un disjoncteur de protection de 16 A est

admissible.

• Fixez un sac collecteur aux crochets de la chape de

FR-3

sortie ou placez une corbeille réceptrice directement

au-dessous du canal de sortie.

• Lors du travail avec le hacheur, il est recommandé de

s’habiller fonctionnellement. Le port de vêtements de

travail ajustés au corps, de gants solides et de chaus-

sures montantes avec une semelle antidérapante est

conseillé. De plus, pensez à porter des lunettes de

protection ainsi qu’une protection acoustique !

• Placez l’interrupteur B (ill. 5) en position „I”. Vériﬁez

que l’appareil soit vide au moment

de son allumage.

• Votre broyeur de végétaux dispose d’un disjoncteur

de protection contre les surcharges C (ill.5) qui remet

l’appareil automatiquement en cas de surcharge

ou de blocage du disque porte-lame. Après que

la cause de l’arrêt ait été éliminée et le temps de

refroidis-sement respecté, l’appareil est de nouveau

prêt au fonctionnement. Appuyez sur le disjoncteur

de protection contre les surcharges pour le reactiver.

Uniquement après cela vous pouvez allumer votre

broyeur de nouveau avec l’ interrupteur.

• Si le moteur s’arrête pour cause de surcharge ou de

manque de tension, éteignez le moteur et laissez-

le refroidir de 3 à 5 minutes. Ensuite appuyez sur

l’interrupteur à minimum de tension et remettez

l’appareil en marche.

• Pour éteindre, simplement repositionner l’interrupteur

B (ill. 5) sur „O” . Grâce au frein de moteur intégré, le

moteur s’arrête en l’espace de quelques secondes.

• Les substances organiques telles que les branches,

branchages, buissons, tiges de ﬂeurs, feuilles etc.

peuvent être hachées. Si le bois est fraîchement

coupé, il est possible de hacher des branches d’un

diamètre allant jusqu’à 35 mm.

• Les restes d’arbres coupés doivent être hachés le

plus vite possible, car le bois peut devenir très dur en

se desséchant. Le diamètre des branches est alors à

réduire en conséquence.

• Des déchets végétaux très riches en eau tels que

les feuilles de légumes, les tiges de ﬂeurs etc. ont

tendance à coller et peuvent obstruer la sortie. Ce

genre de déchets est plus facile à traiter si vous les

laissez sécher quelques jours.

• Attention! Lorsque les couteaux sont bien aiguisés,

la force d’entraînement est très puissante. Tenez

donc bien les branchages plus épais, aﬁn d’éviter une

surcharge du moteur. Nous recommandons le port de

gants de travail et de lunettes de protection.

• Il est préférable de traiter les matériaux secs entre

deux ou en dernier. De cette manière, l’humidité dans

l’appareil sera absorbée et l’intérieur de la machine se

nettoiera de lui-même.

• Assurez-vous que le hacheur de jardin est entièrement

vide lors de son extinction, étant donné que des

restes de matériaux non encore hachés pourraient

bloquer les couteaux au moment de la remise en

marche.

Protection contre les surcharges

Blocage: Au cas où l’appareil sera

it obstrué en raison d’un

sur-remplissage, la protection de surcharge se déclenche

automatiquement. Le moteur s’éteint et l’interrupteur de

sécurité (C) (Ill.5) commute vers l’avant.

Ne tentez pas de remettre l’interrupteur dans sa position

initiale avant que l’encombrement n’ait été éliminé.

Retirez d’abord la ﬁche de contact de l’appareil. Dévissez

le bouton de verrouillage (A) (Ill. 5) et enlevez l’entonnoir

de remplissage supérieur du carter principal de l’appareil

en le soulevant pour supprimer l’encombrement. (Ill. 6)

Attention:

Portez des gants et ne vous approchez pas

trop

des lames pendant que vous travaillez à l’entonnoir

ouvert.

Après élimination de l’enc

ombrement, remettez l’entonnoir

supérieur en place et assurez-vous que le bouton de

verrouillage (A) soit vissé à fond. Poussez l’interrupteur

de sécurité (C) dans sa position initiale pour remettre

l’appareil dans son état initial et reconnectez la ﬁche pour

poursuivre le hachage.

Entonnoir de remplissage

Le broyage et le hachage sont effectués par aspiration

naturelle des déchets au niveau des lames. Au cas où

vous souhaiteriez un broyage plus ﬁn, faites à nouveau

passer les morceaux par le hacheur jusqu’à ce

que vous

obteniez le résultat souhaité.

Ne suralimentez pas l’appareil et

n’y ajoutez pas de

déchets mouillés ou humides, ceci peut obturer les lames

et la glissière de décharge.

Attention: Eteignez l’appareil et d

éconnectez le câble

de l’alimentation électrique. Portez des gants et ne vous

approchez pas trop des lames pendant que vous travaillez

dans l’entonnoir de remplissage.

Pour supprimer l’encombrement, dévissez le bouton de

verrouillage (A) (Ill. 7) et

retirez l’entonnoir de remplissage

supérieur du carter principal de l’appareil (Ill.8).

Après avoir éliminé l’encombrement, remettez en place

l’entonnoir de remplissage s

upérieur et assurez-vous

que le bouton de verrouillage (A) soit vissé à fond.

Reconnectez le câble à l’alimentation électrique et allumez

à nouveau l’appareil pour poursuivre le hachage.

Attention: Veillez tout particuliè

rement à ne pas

toucher les lames.

ENTRETIEN DES LAMES (Ill. 8-10)

• Déconnectez l’appareil de l’alimentation électrique et

ouvrez l’entonnoir de remplissage. Retirez celle-ci en

dévissant l’écrou de blocage (D) (Ill.8).

• Dévissez les huit vis

de ﬁxation

(E) et enlevez la plaque

de couverture du disque porte-lames. (Ill.9)

• Les lames peuvent à présent être retirées en dévissant

les deux vis hexagonales (F) à chaque lame (Ill. 10)

• Procédez dans l’ordre inverse pour remonter l’appareil.

Serrez les vis des lames à fond !

ENTRETIEN ET SOIN

Attention! Après avoir terminé votre travail,

commencez toujours par retirer la prise puis

procédez au nettoyage du hacheur.

Nettoyage

• Avant le nettoyage, toujours :

- éteindre l’appareil.

- retirer la prise.

- attendre l’arrêt complet du disque porte-lame.

• Le hacheur de jardin est un appareil électrique.

Il faut donc absolument éviter de l’exposer à des

projections d’eau. De l’eau pénétrant dans l’appareil

peut entraîner la mise hors d’état de l’interrupteur, de

la prise ainsi que du moteur électrique.

• Pour retirer de l’appareil

les restes de matériel

haché, prenez une balayette ou un chiffon.

• Le hacheur de jardin ne requiert quasiment aucun

entretien, mis à part les lames de couteau, qui sont

sujettes à l’usure inhérente à leur usage.

• Avant chaque mise en service, vériﬁez que tous les

éléments sont bien ﬁxés. Ceci vaut surtout pour les

lames de couteau.

TRANSPORT ET ENTREPOSAGE

• Entreposez votre hacheur dans une pièce sèche et

hors d’atteinte des enfants.

SERVICE APRÈS-VENTE

Les réparations d’appareils électriques ne doivent être

effectuées que par un électricien professionnel. Veuillez

joindre une description des défauts constatés lors de

l’envoi de l’appareil à la réparation.

Attention! les travaux de réparation électrique

ne doivent être effectués que par un électricien

professionnel ou à l’atelier du service après-vente.

Recyclage et protection de l’environnement

Au cas où votre appareil devenait un jour inutilisable ou

si vous n’en aviez plus l’usage, ne jetez en aucun cas

l’appareil avec les déchets ménagers, mais veillez à un

recyclage conforme aux principes écologiques. Allez

déposer l’appareil dans un centre de recyclage. Les élé-

ments en matière synthétique et en métal seront séparés

et réutilisés. Votre commune ou l’administration urbaine

vous fourniront tous les renseignements à ce sujet.

Istruzioni di sicurezza di carattere generale

Indicazioni sull’emissione di rumore in base al decreto

informativo sulla rumorosità delle macchine 3. GPSGV

o direttiva macchine: il livello di pres-sione sonora sul

posto di lavoro non deve superare gli 85 dB (A). In caso

affermativo sono necessarie misure protettive dell’utente

dai rumori (p.es. indossare una protezione degli organi

uditivi).

Attenzione protezione rumore! Per la messa in servizio

osservare le norme regionali e nazionali in materia.

Attenzione: per l’uso di utensili elettrici occorre

prendere le seguenti misure di sicurezza di base per

zioni prima di utilizzare l’utensile elettrico. Conservare le

3. Uso previsto

Il trituratore elettrico da giardino è statoa concepito per

un uso privato ed è idoneo per la triturazione di sostanze

organiche prodotte nell’uso casalingo e dal giardino

(rami di piccole e grandi dimensioni; taglio di siepi

ecc.). Può venire impiegato esclusiva-mente in modo

stazionario appoggiato sul terreno. Un uso diverso da

quello previsto non è consentito.

La presente macchina è dotata di una funzione di freno

che in caso di spegnimento, allentamento della vite di

bloccaggio, asportazione del cavo di rete e problemi

alla rete elettrica frena l’utensile di taglio nell’arco di

pochi secondi. Questa funzione è stata sviluppata per

proteggere l’utente dallo sﬁoramento dell’utensile di

taglio durante un’aper-tura volontaria o involontaria della

carcassa.

Il trituratore è dotato di una protezione da sovraccarico

che spegne l’apparecchio in un lasso di tempo brevissimo

in caso di blocco dell’utensile di taglio.

4. Istruzioni di sicurezza

A. Istruzioni di carattere generale

1. L’utente è responsabile nei confronti di terzi che si

trovino nella zona di lavoro dell’apparecchio.

2. È vietato l’uso del trituratore a giovani al di sotto dei

16 anni nonché a persone sotto l’inﬂusso di alcool,

droghe o prodotti medicinali.

3. Dare in uso (prestare) il trituratore esclusivamente

a persone che sappiano utilizzarlo correttamente. In

ogni caso mettere sempre a disposizione le istruzioni

per l’uso!

4. Impiegare il trituratore esclusivamente per il suo

scopo proprio. Prestare attenzione alle istruzioni

sull’apparecchio.

5. Possono venire utilizzate esclusivamente apparec-

chiature / accessori forniti dal produttore o esplicita-

mente approvati per l’installazione sulla presente

macchina. Non sono

consentite modiﬁche che

possano condurre ad un aumento del pericolo di

incidenti.

6. Per il comando dell’apparecchio indossare guanti,

occhiali protettivi e protezione degli organi uditivi. Nel

caso di sminuzzamento con produzione di polvere

indossare addizionalmente una protezione per il volto

o una maschera protettiva!

7. Durante i lavori con il trituratore dovrebbero venire

indossati indumenti idonei quale vestiario da lavoro

attillato, guanti robusti e scarpe alte con suola

antiscivolo.

8. L’apparecchio deve venire collocato su un pavimento

piano e solido.

9. Lavorare solo in buone condizioni di luce. Evitare di

mettere in pericolo terzi osservando attentamente

l’ambiente circostante.

10. Evitare che penetrino liquidi o umidità nell’apparec-

chio. Non lavorare all’aperto in caso di pioggia.
